Someone on Wreddit posted a recap of Cena on the E&C podcast. I thought this was interesting:

Cena said the amount of complacency is staggering. He said there has never been a better time to make a name for yourself in WWE with all it's platforms. Cena said every single day he goes out there and takes chances. Edge once again said establishing a dialogue with Vince is incredibly important. Cena said he thinks these guys feel like a piece of a system rather then a creative force.

It really is kind of fascinating how top stars in WWE seem to have the perception that success in the company is predicated solely on that whole "grabbing the brass ring" ideology.

I mean, I get it. Nobody wants to acknowledge that any forces beyond those under their control have some great impact on their achievements, but it's incredible that guys can sit down on these podcasts and say with a straight face that the reason guys like Sami Zayn and Luke Harper aren't going anywhere is because they're complacent.

Not like "true" kayfabe, but some semblance of it. I guess you'd call it the company line. I take any wrestler podcast with a pinch of salt or more. If they're still a WWE employee, everything they say will be measured against that.

I am, yeah. Really annoyed that Reigns takes about 42 AAs and then wins with a single spear. They wonder why the crowd was pretty clearly in Cena's corner for the first time in a decade, and it's because of Roman.

It was obvious that this whole thing was Vince's last gasp at making Roman into the top face, and didn't do a damn thing.

Ah, makes sense with why they're acting like it was his last match. Doesn't make sense that they would have him lose to a super man punch and a spear after Reigns took that many AAs though.

Surprised they followed through with Enzo winning all his Cruiserweight matches with distraction dick kicks by having him actually do it in the championship match and Win

Man, you guys aren't kidding. Just skipping though the Cena/Reigns match you would swear that Roman was a heel, especially with how it started.

And then not just 4 AAs but one of them was a Super AA off the 2nd rope and another was a double AA with a roll through transition. Just absurd.

And then after Cena mixes it up like that Roman just wins in his normal way with nothing done to make it more effective or unique. Which makes Roman look even more boring than he did before.

The booking of that makes me nervous that no matter what happens here, Roman is going to get a title shot and win it at the next ppv.

What else are they going to do with Roman other than shoving him back down our throats in a title match?
