Anyway, finished Chapter 1
That was..pretty good. Kaede dying is one of two major spoilers I got for this game, but I didn't know how she died. I thought she would be a victim and we will be unable to see who killed her, but this is even better
The slope with the books was clever as well, they could just put the vent right above and make it a boring murder, but they went extra distance and invented a clever trick
As for Rantaro - was surprised to see he died first, he knew about the killing game being a thing, about the Ultimate Hunt, and his talent his unknown. It's obvious there must be more to him, but I don't know what they can do with his corpse so much (might be underwhelming like the Ultimate Imposter)

I am not really sure if the spoiler ruined anything for me, since the impact when I realized the truth was still pretty strong, it was during blaming Gonta that I realized the air vent was yet to be used..and realized only 2 people could have used it
Oh well at least now I have spoiler-free sailing until the finale

Early theories for Chapter 2

1.The pool is much going to be the next killing location, isn't it? too much detailed, the body measurement, the rule about not swimming in night, the connection to the gym etc
2.Maki hiding her Ultimate Lab is probably because she wants to hide her real talent - it was mentioned a few times how weird it is she had this talent
3.Please god don't make the "Noah Ark" thing Shuichi mentioned a real plot element god please don't. It's probably nothing but after playing the first 2 games and the Zero Escape, I take every "real world reference" like this as a foreshadowing
4.I questioned Korekiyo gender the first time I saw him, but he was revealed to be male. Then he got happy someone thought he is like a girl? what? hmm..I doubt they will pull another Chihiro but who knows

Well, the exchange rate is 1 : 10. And furniture grinding will likely take up just as much time, considering that I'm short of around 160 monocoins. Replaying trials is not an option either since that'll likely take more time than either methods, after including replaying chapter 2 daily life of course.

Sign, if only I knew about this beforehand. I could've not bought so many presents. But I wanted to be ready for FTEs though.

I..wish there was a list somewhere in the Internet that tells you "when it's the earliest you can figure out who done it" for games like these
As of now..I doubt I have enough info going into the trial
Kaito - possible, but will they really pull this off again right after Kaede? (killing the "sidekick")
Gonta - Can't picture him as a killer, will either survive the game or be a victim
Kokichi - Too soon to get rid of him (well I thought that about Rantaro too though)
Korekiyo - Pretty likely, ropes were mentioned a lot in this case
K1-BO - No
Kirumi - I don't think she will be a killer
Himiko - Would be too obvious so she isn't the killer
Maki - Too early - I assume she has a bigger secret
Tenko - Possible, she act too much friendly towards Himiko (who is the most likely suspect)
Tsumugi - I don't think so
Angie - This is my guess, the Magic Show as her idea, I guess she set up everything
Miu - Doubt it

Chapter 2 end
I didn't like this case. It was dumb from start to finish, even by Danganronpa standards
The murder was faaaar too complex for no reason at all. It really isn't the only "complex for no reason" case in the series but it sure felt like they didn't even try and give a reasoning why she went the extra length to do all that stuff
Why not just keep him dead in his room? why not throw him into the pool? throw him in the piranha cage and let them kill him?
It doesn't matter, there were zero evidence to prove her guilt if she just left him dead right in his room, going so far only made the evidence against her
I figured out the whole murder before the trial even started but just couldn't understand who has done it - and to tell the truth I still can't understand why it could have been only her
If she only needed 5 minutes before nighttime everyone could have pulled this off
The thing with the gloves was stupid, she could have used pretty much everything
And then the motive thing...reaaaalyyy.?

The game started beautifully with the first case, don't ruin this

This is also the first time a character I max my friendship with turned out to be a killer
First game it was Kirigiri and Aoi, second game was Chikai and Sonia
So this is how it feels huh..you think you know someone, then it acts all psycho on you

Got the Chapter 3 trial
Again, I have no idea who done it. Whether it was one killer or two
I don't really have any idea how both murders happened and why did they hang the wax dolls
What I do know is that the "killing from below the floor" was used in DR2 and I hope it will be..different this time
I really..got nothing as for suspecting them. K1BO "light ability" is evidence and it might play part when they try to explain how the killer moved below the floor panels which are lower
He also mentioned "inner voice"
While I don't know if he will be the killer here or not, I am sure he will play an important part (and maybe Miu too..as she modified him...maybe for this reason?)

Chapter 2

Spent about2 hours playing the slots. The slots seems to be rigged in my favour since I went from 160 coins all the way to 6000 coins without reloading. Saving checkpoints, yes. But I didn't need to reload.

Chapter 3 trial (but mostly general thought)
What I liked about this cast more than the cast of the other 2 games, is that it's harder for me to suspect ANY of them, most of them are too "nice"
Kokichi and Maki are always suspicious but they are suspicious in the "Nagito Way" which means it's too obvious they would kill, so they won't kill
Korekiyo is the only one I believe can can anymore

Chapter 3 ending
This class trial was much better than the previous one, at least the murder method made more sense and was clever for a reason
The motive was dumb again, but I guess it has to be expected from this series
"I killed Tenko because I didn't want Angie spirit to reveal I killed her" would have been more..believeable motive (like it was in Ace Attorney) but it would also be more boring, so I dunno

From the remaining survivors I can't imagine another killer, but after Kaito coughed up blood I guess it will be his turn next (either victim or killer)

Kaede's free time events with the characters are completely different than Shuichi's, so nothing got 'wasted'. You don't have to see the same events again.

Everything around the end of chapter 4 pre execution is the most depressing stuff in Danganronpa. Gonta breaking down is gut wrenching. Shuichi telling Gonta he's going to explain everything and Gonta with his tear choked "OK".

I will say that they've never managed to ne successful at making me hate a character they want me to hate. I think Kokichi is MUCH more effective than Nagito at that.

I thought Gonta was incredibly endearing, the voice being a huge part of that. I did thing like you during the demo, but I quickly realized how wrong I was. His speaking pattern was a huge part of that scene's effectiveness.

Anyway, I'm up to the 6th class trial and I think I'll post some of my theories about how I think things can turn out: (Spoilers up to the 6th Trial, obviously): So the fact that the flashback lights can fake memories seems like a big deal. I think it's going to be revealed that at least some of the stuff everyone has remembered isn't real. In fact... I might go as far as to say that even their memories of the previous games as history are fake and that, actually, V3 exists in a universe where the Danganronpa games exist. Shuichi and the others are playing a "real" version of those games, and that scene at the beginning of Case 6 with that kid saying he's excited about something was watching this killing game on his phone.

The scenes where Shuichi was hooked up to some headset machine haven't been explained yet. I'm feeling that this is all fake, the killings aren't real and this is indeed in a VR simulation.

I don't suspect anyone. I can't. The only one suspectable is Kokichi, but he acts like the Byakuya/Nagito of this game, which is "too obvious to be a killer so he isn't"
But I guess they can...change it this time

As for the crime itself..it's obvious that the two ends of the virtual world map are connect somehow, which is why it's possible to hear sounds from the other end, although they mentioned "no special travel methods such as warps", I dunon
No idea how the poison will come into effect either

Oh yeah, (Case 6 spoilers) There was that scene at the end of Trial 5, where it looked like Junko was talking in the secret room with Motherkuma. I think this is Tsugumi cosplaying as Junko, and she will be the mastermind. The reason why she can cosplay as Junko and not get cospox is because Junko is a fictional character in the story of V3

I hated Nagito almost since the start for the same reason I already quite disliked Kokichi before this, they are characters that are made to drive you nuts and not just because of their insanity and their scheming, even before that's revealed they are known for saying one thing, then the opposite and then back to a totally different one... I swear I cant stand it.

And yes chapters 4 are known for being emotional... I can't say which ones are worse but realizing Sakura had committed suicide and that Gundham was the killer by accident and in both cases to try and save the rest was also heart-breaking to me, especially as I already loved both characters even before this revelation

I don't want to discredit them about Kokichi being a "poor Nagtio" because they really tried and make him different from him, so it's not really fair for me to judge him compared to Nagito
He is still good..it's just that.. I think they gave him too much screen time too early. In the case of Nagito, he butted in only in important moments to make things more interesting
But when Kokichi is in your face everytime..it's just annoying

Kokichi hasn't come back to free us from this insect hell though, I wonder if he'll be alright.

So the hints about what happened to the world outside..were very bold
And not just that, they know we played the first 2 games, so I just don't understand what they are suggesting
The world is...gone? again..? we already so that twist in the first game. But now maybe the *whole* world is gone from the meteorites? and this is the last shelter on Earth? (if this is even Earth)
And the other one is..what was the funeral all about? are they dead? are they just memories inside a virtual reality, like in DR2?
Maybe they combined the two twists, and the world is gone, but the only way to "survive" is by staying inside a virtual world, but someone hacked it to turn it into a killing game instead?
