I should make preemptive guesses of who I think dies, kills, and survives. That was fun when I was playing Danganronpa 2; I believe I got most of the survivors correct, but pretty much reversed the killers and their victims. But I did that after the introductions.

I have some real distrust of the writers of this series to make a good plotline after UDG and Dangaronpa 3, and I also have some serious concerns with the localization after seeing a blatant typo in an early release copy playthrough. Probably going to hold off on this one until the dust settles.

Reviews are implying that from a writing standpoint this game is an absolute madhouse in a good way. I could not be more hyped than I am right now.

One thing I'm liking a lot going through the OST is more lengthy and varied tracks. A lot of the DR 1 and 2 stuff was sub 2 minutes with a strong loop. Discussion -Heat Up- in V3, for example, is over 5 minutes long before the loop

£50 here and 45 for PS4, which is still quite a lot for a visual novel. I got Zero Time Dilemma for 40 euros and that'a probably my limit

Well I don't really know how games price are determined..to me it always looked like how much money it took to develop, like how AAA titles are always $60
Game length doesn't make sense as you can have short games that cost much less money than some $60 games
Then you also have to wonder why consoles games are more expensive than handheld games which in turn are more expensive than mobile games..and yeah I dunno
$60 for this just feels..weird
And it doesn't seem to have Denuvo so it isn't really a hard decision for me to make..

The games have always been full price, I don't know why you would expect otherwise.

It's really strange to me that you or anyone thought this would be some budget release. Most games are $60. The indication that you're considering piracy is disgusting to me as well.

Still, I compare them to Ace Attorney and the Zero Escape series, which IIRC they were not full price

It's been designed for it this time around. Playing 1 and 2 with the Vita TV was a bit odd, but PS4 is the lead platform for V3 and it works great based on the demo.

Because Vita games aren't $60 to begin with. Every game is FULL PRICE for the platform.

I was unfortunately spoiled by the big chapter 1 twist, but I've gotten over it. Chapter 1, afterall. Certainly seems like it's gonna be just as big a jump in quality as 2-1 was from 1-1!

Pretty much every review has explicity said that the ending of the game is so insane that if you are spoiled for it you may as well not even play it.

Thing is I got both Danganronpa games on Vita early last year (first as a present actually), and they were around 20 euros at the time. Of course some time had passed already but I expected to get V3 either on Vita or cheaper on PS4. I guess I will wait for a price drop, especially seeing how I will get the Switch with Mario next month.

And sure they are remasters, but I would have expected Danganronpa to cost the same than FFXII HD or Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy

I'm a little confused by what you mean here. Danganronpa's PS4 remastered were cheaper than either of those games, and I don't see why V3 would be the same price as those games.

I guess at the and of the day I don't see why people think Danganronpa V3 should cost less than literally every other full release game. I wouldnt pay more for V3 than any other game this year, P5 included.

I was just saying that it isn't 60 bucks on all platforms, you are paying that price because of those platforms, not because the game.

2. Talking about general character reactions (my waifu/surface level shit) - non-spoiler
3. Cases, plot points, answers, investigations, big ass story arcs - obvious spoilers

It sounds simple, but saying, "x character is amazing" is totally different than "x character was amazing WHEN SHE DIED IN CASE 1!" Even saying was out of context may lead to people thinking they died or are likely to die.

So yeah, just post what part of the game you're at, so the rest of us who lag aren't fucked over.
