It won't stay on, I don't know what's wrong with it so I don't know if it's fixable.

Test if it's an idle holding issue, see if you can hold it at 1500rpm

I can't hold it at any rpms cause it just turns off.

Most likely the fuel pump. You can still run on a couple of bad spark plugs. The way you describe it, it sounds like fuel isn't getting in there.

Pretty easy fix on most vehicles.

Just got home. The car is in the parking lot of the place I was at and we got permission to just leave it there. At least until tomorrow. Getting it back here could be a pain because it's a 30-40 minute drive normally. But towing something usually takes longer, depending on how it's being towed. I'm pretty much hoping that we don't have to tow it with a rope....

Also, my eyes hurt from using my stupid phone earlier while making this topic and posting in it....

Rope works but chain is better. I run my chain through a metal pipe then hook it to the car I'm pulling, the pipe helps stop the vehicles from touching if you slow down too fast. Have the car being towed do most of the braking so it keeps the rope/chain taut

Rope is only used if you need to do the towing right away and you can't go get something that works better.

Also, I think it's illegal to tow with a chain like that here. You have to use those one thingys that I don't even know what they're called. Straps?

As far as I know, many places do not allow it as its very dangerous; it may be 'legal' but not advisable and many LEOs will stop it from happening.

You have no power steering as there is nothing to turn the pump. There is nothing to provide vacuum to the brakes to provide power brakes. You are not able to maintain control of the vehicle because you cannot turn or stop easily and have to be in pretty good sync with the lead car. If the event of an emergency maneuver, things get ugly fast.
