I've recently become a huge fan of spicy Italian sausage with green peppers. And extra sauce too, but that isn't technically a topping

Pepperoni. Like there's a reason it's the most popular topping.

Aside from pepperoni, meat in general is good. Not chicken, though. Chicken doesn't work well on pizza. Green peppers are the best as far as vegetables go.

I bet it would taste awesome. The sweetness of a good pineapple mingling with the taste of tomatoe. And maybe a little pepperoni or spicy sausage. That would taste great

chicken is fine on pizza if you get a parmesean sauce instead of regular tomato based pizza sauce

That's debatable. I've had some very good buffalo chicken pizza before.


Best pizzas I've ever had were prosciutto, Italian sausage and pepperoni or pesto.

I'm also a fan of olives.

Pepperoni is fucking god tier if it's JUST right. If the edges of the pepperoni slices are crispy, it's the best fucking thing on the planet. But that's rare as fuck to get.

Also bacon.

And....jalapeno peppers

Generic answer would be pepperoni but combos work better like some of my favourites:

-Hawaiian (pepperoni, ham, and pineapple) is a classic contrast of sweet, salty, and savoury.
-Canadian (pepperoni, bacon bits, and mushroom) another contrast of flavour with the bacon bits and underlying flavour of the baked mushrooms
-Supreme (too many ingredients but includes the sausage and green peppers) a total melting pot of things put onto a pizza

I've also had one that's basically minced beef drizzled with white sauce that's also amazing.

Olives are great as long as they aren't the flavourless oxidized black olives that far too many people use.

Pineapples can be decent, but I find canning screws up the flavour and pretty much everyone uses canned pineapples, so it's never as good as it should be.

I rather like cheese. That is to say, additional cheese.

Disagree. Chicken Bacon Ranch is quite good. Also Chicken Spiedie (a local specialty). Buffalo Chicken and BBQ Chicken are usually decent, too.

Yes, exactly. Pineapple and tomato go together perfectly! I like to add feta cheese as well, but the two alone work great, too.

Beyond that... a "Philly steak" style pizza with steak pieces, mushroom, and green pepper...and I like black olive added too (but no onion, I hate onion) is good.

BBQ chicken as well...pineapple also works well on that.

Then there's taco pizza...salsa instead of tomato sauce, and topped w/ taco seasoned ground beef, tomato, lettuce shreds, taco cheese, and bits of tortilla. Yum!

I like them all.....even anchovies.

I like how there's over 30 posts here, pinapple has been brought up several times, and everyone's civil about it being viable as a topping...

To chime in, I'm a fan of a good collection of meats, or a supreme style pizza in general. Pepperoni's a classic, but I'm easily a fan of ground sausage, sausage slices, and chicken for meats, maybe some olives and green pepper for color and flavor, and it would be a good pizza for me there, especially with a white sauce (ranch, or a quasi Alfredo style creme sauce) instead of the usual red/tomato sauce.

Or, to echo someone else's comment, Taco Pizza is good too... and now I kinda want one, >.<

Eh, the sauce is usually all the moisture a pizza really needs, though I suppose some people do like sauceless pizzas.

pizza without pineapple isn't necessarily dry but the moisture from pineapple helps balance the spiciness of some toppings
