Godzilla was originally made to reach most buildings. The newer one was just ridiculously oversized like a massive implant.

It's obvious that Paul Feig is a typical SJW who's a self-hating male or a cuck. I just knew from the beginning since his trailer that he rebooted Ghostbusters into a Feminist propaganda just to deliberately piss off the fans of the original movie(which happens to be predominantly men/boys) due to him supposedly being bitter over being bullied by boys during his childhood(from what I've heard on the internet) and took it out on the entire male gender by shitting on one of most popular franchise of all time. Luckily, it bit him back in the ass when his SJW agenda-pushing shit film bombed in the box office, preventing him from making a sequel to this piece of anal fudge movie.

In some way, I'm glad he made it so horrible because it brought some much attention to the problems with SJW and modern feminism.

Totally disregarding the fact that the new movies tarnished the brand of the series. For people who never saw the originals, the bliss of having not seen the originals for the first time is ruined. The nostalgia is created by things that are good, brainwash everyone with shitty remakes and that's what they reference the originals when they see it.

None "destroyed my childhood", the originals are there, and the remake is generally considered bad and forgettable.

If you're asking which of those movies is the biggest disgrace to the originals? Ghostbusters 2016, definitely. They turned a drama/horror/comedy movie into a pure comedy movie that fired off 20 jokes a minute. And none of them would land. Worse, rather than do something smart, like "These are the new Ghostbusters, an off-shoot of the original branch, launching in a new city!" which would've made the transition more palatable, they just totally rebooted the franchise. But with none of the original characters.

Just rebooted the idea and name, which is... weird. Like rebooting Friday the 13th without Jason, or the TMNT with four new Turtles, no Leo, no Don.

Other than Ghostbusters, I guess I'd vote for Robocop. I didn't think it was a band standalone movie, but they just... changed a lot, without reason. Like new edgy armor, rather than the classic. And I hated the idea that it was a computer doing all of the fighting, rather than Robocop himself -- he just thought he was fighting.

The first transformers was actually ok/tolerable and have got steadily worse from there to the point where I've given up on them entirely but the TMNT movie was crap from the go and was genuinely painful to watch. The sequel even more so.

A really bad remake can break into your home, destroy all of your childhood photos, burn your cherished possessions, and then give you a concussion so bad you wind up forgetting years of your life. Don't EVER underestimate a remake!
