Hi everyone! This is my second or third topic on the subject of Extra Life 2017, a charity gaming marathon to benefit children's hospitals. Last year, I hosted Extra Life at my house in Dayton, OH along with Han and Tera and Tabii, fellow B8ers. We raised over $1000 and this year we're doing it again, with a goal of $2550. Last year was 25 hours of gaming, and this year is 49 hours.

At the end of the 49 hours, I will be getting married to Tabii, which will also be livestreamed.

That's quite the superstar lineup of users! We have a few more who are "maybes" and at this point, I have to say my house is just about at capacity. We can handle more, but I think we're really only looking at maybe one more person to attend the stream.

Wigs has expressed his desire to take the last spot, but there were three users who don't frequent the B8 Discord (where this is primarily planned) who expressed interest before him and I need to see where they are. Those users are @ChaosTonyV4 @HaRRicH and @Forceful_Dragon

You three have expressed interest. If any of you can come, great. If you can't, then we'll be fine because we have so many people attending already, and there's always an opportunity to involve you in other ways (cross streams, online games, etc!). The three of you expressed interest all about the same time and I kind of feel there is only room for one of you (including Wigs). So it would be good if we figured it out in this topic. Who wants to come the most? Who is it easiest for? If none of you, that's fine too.

Let's figure this out.

As much as I would love to smoke literally everyone in fat guy DDR, being newly married and poised for a promotion I don't see myself being able to take the time to make the trip.

I'm more than willing to cede my "maybe" position to someone else at this point.

Keep it in mind for next year then, at the very least. We're doing it at my house in 2018 and 2019 as well, and then at Shad's in 2020. We've got plans.

Yeah, you weren't really added to the list because a bunch of people were ahead of you, especially with Tony and Wigs being capable. Since you live pretty close I wouldn't be opposed to you dropping in, but planning around all the sleep and everything, we've hit capacity on that front.

So we still need to hear from @HaRRicH otherwise, we'll be looking at locking in Tony as a confirm!

My apologies for not noticing sooner -- GameFlux doesn't notify me when I've been added and therefore it makes me a jerk who's mean to friends.

I'm still interested*! *if attendance the whole forty-nine hours isn't necessary from me. I would need to be back to work in TN on Monday morning and I'm already taking time off the weekend before this.

Would this be okay? I'd hate to miss the wedding and end of the stream, but I'd stay as long as I could. If space is an issue, I'd be pleased to give up my spot to someone who can stay the whole time too!

@HaRRicH we're super at capacity right now, i think. if you wanted to arrive on the day of and hang out, you could, but you'd have to fly into dayton and take an uber here if you're flying, otherwise it might not be worth it for you to come this year and can instead plan for next year. can also hang out some on sunday, it's up to you -- but before and after we're pretty much booked

So there are three airports in the area and we already have people coming to three different ones. Check for flights to Cincinnati, Columbus and Dayton. Dayton is the closest and easiest, and if you can come in on Friday, that would be preferred. So arriving to Dayton on Friday, departing from Dayton late Monday or on Tuesday is preferred. Tabii already has to go to both Columbus and Cincinnati on Tuesday AM for dropping people off. Let me know if Dayton is an option for you or not
