She's so amazing naked at such a low level.

Provides crazy utility, don't even know if WoL is worth keeping a slot, she can break while inflicting status, boost limit gauges, party revive, do some status healing, healing and damage.

Is her BiS actually two of her tmr?

i think on reddit somebody broke down the most powerful finishers in the game and Rem took 1st.
ahead of Olive and enhanced Firion at that. i should honestly work her timing on that, it's pretty amazing.

she's got reasonable HP, absurd SPR and MAG, one of the strongest attacks in the game, and is great at both nuking and supporting.

did you miss her exclusive dagger? as that's still the best weapon and probably will be for a while since it gives a ton of magic.

Here's the thing, Aqua Blade lets you dual wield with that Exclusive dagger.

This frees up the DW materia slot, allowing you to shove 4 Letters and Arms in there and you're then free to not even use Genji Gloves if you were lucky enough to have those as well.

The defense buffs are perks. The meat is the resurrection without wasting turns.

Finally got semi-automated TMR farming up on my phone, so now I can just mindlessly tap the screen while I'm at work to burn through stamina and get some goodies. Not as good as a macro, but I'm not going to go through what that'll take to do.

I've never heard of Rem as a finisher before, what does she have for finishing? I just got her a few days ago so it'd be nice to get some use out of her, instead of just maxing and getting her TMR for Tilith. Dagger Boomerang seems like it would take too many turns to set up to the point where it would be great.

My wife finally got Rikku tonight. Took three 4* tickets, about 15 normal pulls, and four 10+1s, but she has the character that I used to sell her on starting in the first place. She also got WoL while going for her, so she has Tilith, WoL, and Rikku now (Ramza also). Still sitting on Chizuru as her best DPS though.

dagger boomerang would be it. with DW it's just 3 turns to maximize (12.4x a turn, not including finishers or element) and the recent changes in 2.2 make stacking abilities a LOT better.

Stacking spells reset only if you Attack, Defend, or "mix" dualcast spells.
Using abilities/spells/limit breaks does not reset stacks (i.e. Control for Emperor). Mixing a stacking and non-stacking spells (casting two different spells in the same turn) will reset the stack. You can dual cast the same stacking spell (i.e. 2x Thundaja) or a different spell (i.e. 2x Thundaga), but not a combination of two stacking and non-stacking spells (i.e. Thundaja + Thundaga). (Edit: credit to Lucky_Number_Seven for clarification.)


so she can now heal and raise for free without losing DB damage.
now she's no longer tied up doing just that, which suddenly made her a lot more useful on DPS.

though that also answers voltch's question too - not only is she best finisher but she's also ridiculously easy to maintain at being good at everything.

How much better is that than Olive though? I'd be interested to know the totals that they'd do combined over the 3 turns. Given the 12.4x I would guess that Dagger Boomerang makes Rem better when you total them up over the 3 turns, but I don't really know that math.

Olive's main thing is the LB so she's also got that sort of situation where it's not instantly the best out the box, Firion still wins that. that said you can easily raise it now thanks to Rikku's LB too.

not particularly, though they both deliver crazy amounts of damage each. Olive's LB is among the best and Rem can dish out tons of damage with DW. the main issue for her in the same team mainly would be that she doesn't have a lightning weapon to play with really. no good lightning rod, the main lightning sword is locked behind lightning herself, and the main DW setup seems to be her dagger + the water sword to free up the materia. personally i'm sticking to a rod because i have dark fina's TMR but it's def not her best setup, just one i can get to 800+ easy. if i get rod mastery, maybe i can get her to 900+. i'd use it on ace if not her anyway (who, when enhanced, plays VERY nicely with Olive).

Just a quick check before I jump the gun on this. I'm very new, have very little in the way of units and Trust Moogles, so TMR choices are rather limited. My understanding is that anything to get a physical DPS Dual Wield is a high priority for me. However, while I have no Zidane, I do have a Camille. Considering I also have a Tidus, should Camille be my priority for Trust Moogles for the time being, followed by Tidus to get Brotherhood? For reference, I'm also working on an Aileen, Rikku, and Cecil for my TMR Farming team, but at only Rank 36 I doubt Lapis refreshes are worth it, and for a while I want my stamina going into finishing the story.

Just need some feedback, that's all. Really want to at least try and get a halfway competent Tidus up for my friend list if I can, even though I know that's probably weeks away.
