10+1 Ticket Summon only had Amelia of note

5* Summon was Marie , which is fine

Additional summons got me ACE and Rikku AND TIDUS

Anyone got a reliable way to beat king not in a few turns?

I can do it in 2 turns, and I'm not even sure if I am using the best equip or skills, but I am doing it the same way I've done every Raid up til now.

Tilith/Minfilia - Attack/Magic Boost for allies
Elza - Ravaging Blow for Spirit/Defense Break on Mog King

ExDeath - Dual Cast Meteor
*count to 3 in my head*
Orlandeau - Divine Ruination
Orlandeau Friend - Divine Ruination Chain
*Count to 1 in my head*
Fryevia - Frost Flower Blitz

That would pretty much OTKO all the raids prior, but Mog King seems to have a pretty hefty defense/spirit and it takes me two turns to kill him, but he doesn't do anything on Turn 1, like Shadow Bahamut didn't do anything.

I'm consistently killing King Mog in one turn, but I'm using my Fryevia and a friend Fryevia. 4 million damage per turn isn't too hard with her.

I switched evasion Asagi 1 for Firion and my party can kill him before he snorts a second time, but I still need a strong TGC or Fryevia friend to carry me

For what it's worth I always have WoL Brave Presence right before he Snorts so he's the one gone

I still haven't gotten the timing down to chain the two together. I can do two Orlandeaus with ease though. I hear that two Fryevia is the way to go, but it seems like it's either very finicky or the window is very small to get that maximized damage right.

Just got Rem from a 4* EX ticket. Don't think I have much use for her, but she has a perfect TMR for Tilith!

rem is pretty great paired with tilith especially. don't think there's a better backup girl - she even cures petrify. she's hardcore backup and can re-raise.

though with rikku now in the mix that may be different. she's still pretty great.

that challenge mode is rough for king mog. i'll stick to beating down ELT.
did get the rewards though! just gotta get enough to summon an esper within 4 items and smoke bomb your way out. easy 15k coins and 100 lapis.

You know how King Mog gets first Strike and asks to play?

You should notice that your characters have a special status, and when you heck your moves there's a new ability play/sing/whatever with King Mog. AFTER you use it, on the next turn you will notice another new move, Insult/whatever King Mog next to the other one use that, then just survive the battle until King Mog has snorted 5 people away and runs away on his own

Note that you must not damage King Mog with any other move other than the 2 special ones. Defending is fine

After King Mog runs away and you've insulted him, a new stage will open

Good luck with King Mog's Counterattack though. He hits hard.

i had it unlocked even after accidentally auto-battle had everyone attack and i hit him a few times to the point where he snorted away one of my guys.

so the can't damage rule is wrong, though don't know if there's a threshold for that.

Got a 34 hit elemental chain between Rikku and 2 Fryevia's. Rikku not only builds, but keeps the chain going. Sorry King Mog Super ELT.

I was expecting more out of the dreaded Lasswell's Trial... but Frigid Swordsman's attack just tickles and it only took two turns for Lasswell to kill all the bosses. And I forgot to give Rain his equipment too >_>

For the record my party was Lasswell (AKA the only guy that can deal damage worth a damn), Rain (Leadership bot), Jake (Break Style bot), Fina (Libra bot), and Sakura (Libra + Defensive Barrier bot)

Now on to Macalania Woods!
