Can you just use the same friend infinitely? It seems like it since I have picked the same one 4 or 5 times in a row. Usually they would disappear after one use until the daily reset for these things or that's what I'm used to them doing anyways.

Most people only choose from the All one (far left) but you could choose certain classes when looking for a friend/guest and I guess that's where those would show up

Should I be doing the Extra Quests right away after clearing a story stage? I finished a few without any trouble so it seems like they're meant to be done early. Also Jesus Waver really boosts NP a ton. Love using Artoria's NP

she's pretty dang good! I had no business winning that mission (misclicked on Advanced when Intermediate is still a decent fight)

I just did some grinding and my Arturia in my All slot is now first ascension and should be able to carry people through non-archer 40AP XP quests. Liz in Lancer slot and Stheno in Assassin will be first ascension soon too.

So just throw these 1-2* Saber essences onto my Artoria then. I just beat one of the daily mission things. It said suggested lv5 and then the 3rd fight had a lv25 coffin thing. I still won, but wow that is way higher than lv5

You should just throw like most of your experience things on your top Servants right away. Getting more isn't that hard and it'll make a big difference at the start.

Does Shielder have to use All types to level up? I think it's kinda interesting the plot still tells me there are 7 Servant classes, but I haven't gotten to an explanation on Ruler, Waver and Shielder.

Waver is a Caster. Shielder has no weaknesses or strengths.

You can use any XP with any Class. It just gives a small bonus if you use it with the class it's associated with.

Oh right, something else I was curious about. Sometimes when you pick a Support hero, you can't use their Noble Phantasm at all. What's up with that?

Shielder can use any XP type, but only gets the class bonus rate for All. She only can use All-type Fous though.

Beat the first real boss of the starting area or maybe it's like the first mini-boss. Shielder died because my team was less than ideal for the enemy, but I still won.

I'm suddenly seeing fanart of another Egyptian woman, so I assume a new character came out.

Artoria's 3 skills are Charisma (small party attack buff for 3 turns, always nice) Mana Burst, (Big self buster buff for one turn, also nice), and Instinct (makes a few crit stars, trash).

Leveling Charisma is never a bad idea.

I've always just done it right away when it's for a Servant I use. Maybe make sure it's not an item you need to Ascend her.

It's not an item I need to Ascend so I guess I'm fine.

Almost got a Game Over against Shadow Archer. He killed Shielder and Artoria so all I had left was a lv1 Emiya and the guest Servant Caster.

Prologue beated. Had literally 1 Servant left alive at the end. I thought lv11 for my team would be good enough, but apparently not. Even redoing the stage for that optional Quartz is rough. Maybe I should burn up these Blaze of Wisdom 4* exp items so my Servants are much stronger (or at least use them on Artoria)

Mash is the only Shielded, right? Is she actually worth leveling?

I saw people saying she's actually pretty good and worth keeping around, but that you also didn't really need to bother until a certain area. I've kept her in my party for the defense boost and 1 turn of invincibility skills she has. Her NP seems useful too.

Mash is apparently considered one of the best units in the game, mainly due to her zero cost and automatic progression, but her kit seems to keep pace with content pretty darn well. At worst you'll likely always have her in the back row.

Yeah I'm leveling Mash because at worst it's good to have a filler until I can fill a full roster on points, and at best she grows on me and I like having her around anyway. And for now she's kinda cute I guess, which beats a blank!

Mash is very 'okay' right now. A lot of her potential is story-locked with incremental upgrades; when she learns the identity of her joined Servant she gets a pretty massive boost in power and utility.

Until then, she'll also be really useful in events for holding CEs that get a bonus for the event but have terrible stats >_>.

Cleared France and ascended Hans. Still going to be a while before he has enough HP to be a useable buffbot though.

Later in the game you'll need hundreds of millions of QP for a single upgrade...

Thanks. Looks like I get 1 Saint Quartz for now then. I got Caesar from a friend summon and Sasaki Kojirou is now at NP lv4. Started the first chapter and it seems like it'll be better than the prologue already
