Same. Marie is the best. Unfortunately, I think the next chapter is basically a garbage fire. The third chapter is fun high sea shenanigans though. And the events are all hilarious!

Event Quest isn't an event, it's for farming skill/ascension mats.

And I'm pretty sure Chapter 3 onwards are going to be released at roughly the same relative times that they came out in Japan.

Thanks to somebody from the F/GO iOS board I now have a 5* Saber Artoria along with stuff I didn't even ask for like 4* Emiya, Heracles and Carmilla. Now I can finally start playing woo

Hey you peeps gotta go to Formation -> Support Setup and change your helper servant so it's not Mash! And put your best craft essence on them too

I don't quite get the support concept because it has eight slots but it only seems to use the first or something

I have my best servant in each class plus mash in the all slot

Most people just choose someone from All, so it's best to put your best Servant there.

You can select the different classes too when picking a support, but I don't think many people do that.

So how worthwhile are lower star guys? Can you bump up their strength to make your favorites usable?

Well Sasaki Kojirou is a base 1* and he seems pretty competitive right now. He does have a lower level cap than the 5* units but you can use Holy Grails to increase the level cap so I'm thinking anyone can stay (fairly close to-- I don't think the game exactly has perfect character balance) on the level with enough time invested

Especially right now I imagine you can use anyone you want and clear most if not all of the available content.

Was too tired to actually play last night. Now I just need to figure out how the game actually works. Like how to set up an All Support or whatever and how to put essences on characters and whatnot. Looking forward to when my team cost is high enough to use Artoria, Emiya and Mash on the same team

You only choose two servants for each level, the third is friend/guest servant

but Mash has 0 cost so you can use Altria and Mash right from the start

click menu -> formation -> support setup to configure your support servant(s)

You can actually move the Support character to your backup crew, so you can start out with three of your own. This won't be practical until you have a lot more cost though.

Man I was trying this by pressing and holding on the servant slot and trying to drag it

The Line Up button has a use it seems. That's good to know I was kinda upset that you could only really have a 2 member party for customization. I'll still keep the guest there but that opens it up a lot.

It'll spoil character identities for everyone. I think there's only one of those in Zero, so it's not really a big deal. Knowing ahead of time could even make the show more interesting. F/SN gets spoiled way harder.

It should be high enough right off the bat (sans CEs). Mash is 0-cost.

Now balancing high star servants and CEs, that gets tricky.

Is there any reason to not just use EXP items on matching servants that I want to level up immediately? How about these big 4* EXP materials, any reason to save them or am I free to use them on whoever I want to level up the most?

I always use XP immediately, unless I'm hoping to role someone specific and then I save their class's XP.

Also, Ruler/Shielders should have priority for the all-class XPs

Finally got a roll I'm happy with, though my 5* ended up being Vlad again. XD

I'll just call it destiny and embrace him. Time to finally start playing the game!

It's the Event Quests.

For Jeanne, usually NP gain/Artes CE so she can keep spamming her invul/heal.

Mana prisms are entirely up to you. Right now, XP is probably the most valuable. Tickets are always nice. Later, Fou cards will be the most limited resource but they give the least return on investment at this point.
