What did you score? Did you even take it? I know there are some people out there who believe it measures a person's i.q. to a point. Strangely enough iirc every single graduating h.s. class that i've been familiar with the valedictorian has also been the highest scorer in the class. Coincidence? you tell me

Took the SAT but not the ACT. I think I got a 1640 on it but that was around 10 years ago so I don't remember. Good enough to get into college and that's all I cared about.

I can't remember my ACT score but it was good, not great but good. I only took it one time and that was the morning after an all night party. Some of the people taking it with me were still out of it.

Took the SAT and got a 1940 on it (this was in 2010).

Think it was 1250 without the writing portion, which most colleges don't look at apparently.

SAT 2: 2010
SAT 3: 2020
SAT 4: 2040

I also took three SAT II subject tests in American History, Math 1, and Spanish Language.

Yeah, it was a bitch. I was trying to get into the honors program at UF and back then they had a hard SAT cutoff. I was literally 10 points away from their requirement and they wouldn't let me in. so I took it again my senior year.

yessir I did! And since then the program has gotten rid of that point requirement. They still factor in SAT scores but don't require a minimum.

SAT is absolute garbage, I can't believe they expect kids to sit through NINE SECTIONS and use that as an accurate representation of their test-taking abilities.

ACT is much better, but still - standardized testing is just bogus.

My ACT score is the reason I was able to get a full tuition scholarship for in-state schools. My GPA was like a 3.9, so I wasn't in the 4.0 crowd, but my ACT score with my GPA put me in the threshold for the state scholarship.

I took the SAT, but I can't remember my score. It wasn't remarkable, but it didn't need to be. ASU's standards are a complete joke. They'll let Joe Shmoe with a fake birth certificate scribbled together with crayons in.

Complete waste of time anyway, since I transferred from a community college, and the university didn't even request to see my SAT score.

31 or so on the ACT, got paid to go to college for my first two or so semesters

I never took either because I was in a tracking school. Everyone not in an Honors program was not even told about the SATs or ACTs and if they asked staff about them those students were actively discouraged from taking them. That said I took a college entrance exam in 6th grade and was only 3 points away from being granted admission full time, only being granted summer admissions. I wanted to take the test again and skip middle and high school but my mother always refused because she was afraid I would actually pass it and she didn't want to pay for college.
