Jinx wants to be in front, but Raven moves her to the rear and she takes the front. As such, Raven reclines back against you, while Jinx's legs are on either side of you.

"Rorek sandwich," Jinx teases.

"Shut up," Raven scowls over her shoulder.

You three slide forward and take off down the right path!

"Yeah~!" Jinx says as you three head down a straightaway.

You build speed on the straightaway then come to a banked left turn! You and Raven shout in surprise while Jinx yells with excitement as you start down a clockwise spiral!

"WhOA~ whOA~ whOA~!"

"WoOO~ooOO~ooOO~!"

After the spiral, you move into a banked right turn, then go back left then back right again!

"Whoa~! Whoa~! Whoa~!"

"Woo~! Woo~! Woo~!"

The path straightens out and your inner tube hits a terminal velocity! You see the end coming up fast, and you launch off of the end and into the pool! You all let out one last holler as you're airborne over the water!

*SPLOOOOSH* You and the girls hit the water and fall under the surface. You get your bearings and head up.

"Pwah!" you say as you breathe again.

You sputter as you move your hair out of your face. Raven and Jinx come up nearby, Jinx swiping her hair back and Raven tucking hers behind her ears.

"My mask!" Robin says. "Where'd it go!?"

Robin feels around, eyes closed.

"Here, I have it," Starfire says.

She paddles over to Robin and places it on his face for him.

"Thanks, Star," he smiles as he opens his eyes again.

"Turn in inner tubes over here," another employee waves.

You find your triple tube and swim it over to the edge of the pool. You give that to the employee and they send it up to the top.

"Please be sure to swim past this area," the employee advises as they point out a yellow line that goes under the water. "This is the safety line, you'll be clear of the incoming inner tubes if you're past here."

Everyone moves past that line and sure enough, the family that was behind you comes down in three inner tubes--the children each in their own and the parents together as a couple--but splash down within the area behind the yellow line.

"Let's go again!" the son says as he resurfaces.

He swims at incredible speed and reaches the edge of the pool in an instant.

"Dash, slow down," the mother scolds.

The other couple brings the stroller over, and the mother picks up her little baby boy.

"I'll stay down here, you two go on up now," she says to their friends.

"Yeah, c'mon, Uncle Lucius," the boy says at the stairs.

Your group climbs out of the pool now. You get out first and help Raven stand up. Jinx giggles as she gets up.

"What?" Raven says to her.

"Nothing," Jinx smirks.

Raven frowns and walks past, you see what Jinx was giggling at.

"Um, Raven," you say quickly and quietly as you blush. "You might want to wedgie--"

Raven's eyes widen and her cheeks redden and she quickly pulls the wedgie out.

"Told you you should've changed into something else," Jinx says.

Everyone walks away from the pool, dripping wet. Beast Boy turns into a dog and shaking off the water, which of course just gets everyone even wetter.

"Sorry," he apologizes with a grin. "Force of habit."

"To the lazy river!" you declare.

You lead the group across the way and enter one of the terminals for the lazy river. You wade into the water as you head to the inner tube station in the middle. You see there is "incoming" on the left and "outgoing" on the right, to keep with the anticlockwise flow of the river.

"Mostly single tubes," you say.

"Let's go!" Jinx says as she grabs one of the few doubles.

"No," Raven says, snatching it away from her. "Robin, you and Starfire go ahead and take this."

She tosses it to Robin, he wades forward with Starfire and they hop into the tubes to float down the river. Jinx grumbles at Raven as she reluctantly takes a single. Jinx floats off into the river, followed by Beast Boy and Cyborg in their own singles.

"And now we take this one," Raven says as she takes another of the double inner tubes down.

"Why didn't we just use the one you took from Jinx?"

"I wanted us to be bringing up the rear," Raven says. "More privacy that way."

"Ah, of course," you nod.

You and Raven sit in the inner tube so that you both face the same direction and then paddle out backwards into the flow of the lazy river. You let the current take you along, and you float to watch the terminal move away from you.

Raven rests her hand gently on yours as you two drift along. You fingers smooth against each other, and you enjoy looking at her legs as they hang over the side of the tube.

"Rorek, stop...!" Raven giggles as she uses her other hand to cover what she can of her legs. "You make me feel bad for always wearing this."

"Don't ever feel bad," you say. "Those legs are glorious."

Raven giggles and covers her face from how flattered she feels. You two then look into each other's eyes, smiling softly. You want to move in and kiss her, but it's a bit tricky because you can feel the inner tube wanting to tip as you sit up.

"I have an idea," you say. "Let's rotate inward."

You and Raven slide and rotate inside the inner tubes. You two face opposite directions, and you're able to rest your head on her shoulder while she rests her head on yours. You then turn your heads to look at each other, and while you're forehead to forehead with her, you give her a kiss on the cheek. She smiles and gives you a kiss back.

You continue like this, resting your heads on each other's shoulders while cheek to cheek. On your side, you see children play in a splashing area, with kiddie pools and fountains as well as water balloons and toy boats. You manage to look at the other side upside-down to see shady areas where park-goers sit and rest.

"There's a stop up ahead," Cyborg says. "You two lovebirds gonna land there or what?"

"We'll get the next one," you say. "We can all regroup at the food court or something a little later."

"Alright," Cyborg says. "See you then."

You and Raven shift to be facing forward now, and see the terminal coming up. Cyborg and the others leave the lazy river and leave their inner tubes at the "incoming" station. You and Raven smile and wave as you drift by. Jinx scowls at Raven but sticks with the others as they move on to one of the other water slides.

You and Raven drift along and the river takes you in a wide curve around a souvenir shop to your right.

"We should consider checking that out before we leave," you say.

"Like, to buy a t-shirt or hat?" Raven asks.

"Yes, those would be nice," you say.

The wide curve takes you around the shop and then right into another curve that goes the other way. To your left, you pass an elevated platform with railings and metal piping. Young boys put coins into metal boxes and then press buttons and *BOOSH BOOSH* the pipes shoot water!

"Ah~!" Raven squeals as the water sprinkles down on both of you.

"Water cannons, huh?" you laugh as the water continues to rain down. "Oh, that's actually refreshing."

"They have those?" Raven says. "Why?"

"I think it's pretty fun," you say. "Plus we were getting a bit hot under the sun."

"I guess," she shrugs.

You and Raven drift past the water cannons, all of them having sprayed water into the air. You continue on and approach a bridge. People cross the bridge to get over the lazy river, but the underside has nozzles spraying a thick mist of water. You and Raven go through it, and it's like a nice little shower.

"Now that I can get into," Raven says with a relaxed tone. "More of that, please."

You chuckle as the two of you continue past the very center of the park, a plaza with huge gushers of water and random shower heads. Children run around to splash and play while teens and young adults use the showers to rinse off before getting into a pool.

"Hi~!" a few kids say to the people in the lazy river, including you and Raven.

"Hello~!" you wave back.

The lazy river takes you out of the plaza and off towards the Northeast corner of the park. You can see an incredibly tall water slide, straight from top to bottom. There are signs directing the way there, calling it "The Waterfall from Heaven".

You come to another terminal now, you and Raven make your way over and dismount at the "incoming" station. You put up the inner tube and the two of you wade back onto land.

"Let's have a go at the Waterfall from Heaven," you say.

"Are you sure?" she says. "That's... really high up. And, that means we'll be going really fast..."

"I'm sure it'll be fine," you say. "C'mon."

You lead the way, holding Raven's hand. She blushes as you walk, and shyly and sweetly clings closer. You keep your eyes ahead on the Waterfall from Heaven as you weave your way through crowds, amidst groups ranging from families to groups of friends to couples going both directions.

You eventually reach the Waterfall from Heaven and see the amazing slope that is the water slide itself. In fact, it is seven different slides side by side to recreate the rainbow. The stairs go up and up but the line is thinner than the Torrent Tower.

"Oh, look," Raven says. "It lets out into the beach."

You look over, and see the slide does in fact continue onto the sandy beach and up to a shallow pool with the waves washing into it.

"Well that's clever," you say. "Takes full advantage of the location."

"This is way higher than that other one," Raven says as you go up the stairs to join the line.

"Oh, now I can see what the plaza design is," you say. "It's like a squid or octopus and the many fountains are suction cups with the big center one being the mouth."

"Neat," Raven says.

You two reach the top and approach the slides.

"One or two?" the employee asks as she holds up two different sized inflatable rafts.

"One," you say. "We can ride together."

The employee hands over the longer raft, and you bring it over to Raven. You two go to the indigo lane and sit the raft down.

"Oh no," Raven says. "This time, you're up front."

"Oh," you say as she slides in behind you. "Alright."

Raven's legs come up on either side of you, and you nervously rest your arms around them. You are in no way attracted to feet, yet you will admit Raven does not have bad feet.

You two move up to the edge of the slide and shove off. You two recline back as you gain speed, and you feel your head rest against soft cushions, aka Raven's chest.

"Whoooooa~!" the two of you holler as you rocket down the slide. "Ooooooh~!"

You go faster and faster until you go as fast as possible. The curve comes up and you are now level with the ground, and you're forced back further into Raven's chest. You end up just resting there as you two coast down towards the beach.

"This is nice," you say. "I like this."

Raven smirks and gives you a playful tug at the ear. Your raft then ends up in the tide pool, and you start to sink. You and Raven get up and wade out of the pool to give the raft over to another employee.

"You've got so much hair," Raven chuckles as she brushes it aside for you. "I think some of it was flapping against me."

"Sorry," you chuckle as her hands smooth around your ears.

Raven smiles as she leads you out of the tide pool. You two walk on the sand, and the sand clings to your wet feet.

"Oh, a seashell," you say, spotting a tiny conch.

You pick it up and carry it with you as you and Raven continue towards the park. You then spot a collection of them on the concrete curb.

"Oh, you found another one?" an employee says, spotting the one you're holding. "We've been clearing shells from the beach all morning, but normally we don't get shells at all."

"Yes, how strange," you say as you place your shell with the pile. "Many of these shells look to be from other regions..."

"What does that mean?" Raven asks.

"There could always be environmental reasons," you say, "but there's a good chance this is because someone brought these shells here. Why they'd leave them out on the beach is a mystery in itself."

"We should look for more, there might be a clue as to how these shells arrived here."

You lead the way back to the sandy shores and walk around looking for more shells. Raven goes one way while you go the other way to cover more ground. You think you have one a few minutes later, but turns out it was just a wood chip.

You go a bit further, and see a clump of something up ahead. You walk up and see it is seaweed. That definitely seems out of place in a place like Northern California. You dig around in the seaweed and find more seashells, like the ones the park employee collected. Then does that mean the seaweed and seashells come from the same source?

You separate the shell from the seaweed. If only you had worked more on things likes Hunter's Magics for tracking where these things came from or what brought them here.

"I found more shells," Raven calls to you.

You two regroup and you see the half a dozen shells she has collected, of various colors, shapes and sizes.

"How lovely," you say as you inspect a few of them.

"But still no clue as to why they're all here?" she asks as you two head back to the large collection on the curb.

"Unfortunately, no," you say. "I found seaweed as well, so something had to have gone deep in the ocean to bring some of that to the surface, wouldn't you say?"

You keep looking at the shells Raven found, and then the shells on the curb.

"Wait," you say, "I recognize these shells. Their coloring and texture, I've seen related shells in the Caribbean and the Eastern Seaboard. What're they doing on the Western Seaboard?"

"Wait, you saw them on the East Coast?" Raven asks. "As in, the Atlantic?"

"Atlantic?" you repeat; you then start to see what Raven is insinuating. "Atlantis. But, King Shark was apprehended days ago, you and I helped Aqualad do that."

"I'm pretty sure there are more enemies of Atlantis than just a big man-shark," Raven says.

"True," you say. "And a water park is a brilliant place for a villain of the sea to appear, no one will question why they're dripping wet."

"Shoot, the communicators are in the changing room," Raven says. "Otherwise we could call ahead to the others to be on the look-out."

You then here a scream, and not the "having fun" kind of screams that you'd expect at a water park. On top of that, you see one of the lanes of the Waterfall of Heaven start to crumble like bread, just as someone is sliding down! You bridge the gap with barrier magic and the person safely slides over it.

More screams, and you're pretty sure a water slide is starting to lean over.

"Okay, something is happening," you say. "We need to stop whatever it is, regardless if it has to do with these shells."

"Raven, head to the water slide," you say. "I'll follow the screams."

"Okay," she nods.

Raven takes flight, and you run against the panicked crowds. You follow the shouting and screaming to a swimming pool. In the pool, you see horrifying mutants! Bulbous sores, lumpy legs, slack jaws and bulging eyes, there are all sorts of terrifying things on the half a dozen or more creatures waddling in the shallow end. You then spot three fish men fighting with Starfire, Shark Beast Boy and Cyborg.

"Change him back!!" Starfire shouts as she angrily throws bolts of energy at the fish man in the green chest plate. "Change Robin back!!"

Robin? Where is... Wait, the mutant with the tuft of spiked black hair, it has the same green shorts and... the mask over the eyes!

"Change! Him! BACK!!" Starfire says as she kicks the green armored fish man into the side of the pool.

"I can not," he laughs at her. "I have the power of mutation but not the power of undoing it!"

Starfire grits her teeth and roars with rage as she punches teeth out of the fish man's mouth!

One of the fish men is flying using his wing-like fins! Cyborg tries to shoot him down with his sonic cannon but the flying fish man is fast. As for Shark Beast Boy, the third fish man in golden armor wrestles with him while also wielding a short trident. Beast Boy transforms into an eel to dodge the trident, then shock the fish man with electricity.

"Robin," you say as you wade into the water. "Robin, if you can understand me, just hold still."

Robin, as mutated and deformed as the fish man has made him, stops moving. His breathing looks labored, the mutation must have put stress on his lungs.

"Just hold still," you say. "I'll try to undo this."

In one hand, you prepare Restoration Magic. In the other, you prepare Alchemy. You then clap your hands to combine them, and then put your hands on Robin's mutated chest. You close your eyes and feel out the changes to Robin's biology, and work to undo them. However, such a process is like trying to untie a knot in a stiff rope.

*SPLASH* You open your eyes at the sound of water to see the trident wielding fish man emerging near you! Beast Boy tackles him as a green Grizzly Bear!

"Thanks for the save," you say quickly.

You speed up the restoration process and start seeing Robin's body returning to normal. Symmetry returns to his shoulders, his legs straighten out and his head finally has a chin again. He slowly becomes more and more what he was before that fish man used his powers.

"Rrr..." Robin starts to speak through his resetting mouth. "Rrrrorek... Thank you..."

"No problem, mate," you say. "Now, you might want to calm your warrior princess before she filets that fish man..."

"Star," Robin says, a bit groggy. "Star, I'm okay!"

Starfire stops just as she's rearing her fist back. She looks over and sees Robin is back to being human and her face lights up. She then flies over and tackles Robin with her hug.

"Oh Robin! Oh Robin Robin Robin!" she squees as she swings around his neck. "And thank you, Rorek!"

"You're welcome," you say.

"I've heard of these guys," Robin says. "They're three members of the Deep Six, all dangerous superhuman fish men from another world."

"Six?" you say. "I'll go find Raven, see if she's encountered the others."

You get out of the water and head towards that leaning water slide. The crowds have thinned out, having taken shelter or just evacuated. You pass through the plaza, the fountains are still going, and a fish man with no armor but a much longer trident stands in your way.

"Well there's one of the six," you say.

But then, another identical fish man appears from the other side of the fountains. And another, and then another."

"Wait, that makes seven," you say.

"You think we are of the same set as those lesser beings?" the first fish man says. "Hah!"

"We are their superiors in every way!" one of the others says.

"We are the ones that brought the 'Deep Six' here," another of them says.

"We are Trident, the ultimate Atlantean!" the fourth says with trident weapon raised high.

Ah, this is Trident. Raven and Aqualad neglected to mention the clones.

You use a magic rope and yank the first Trident forward, then you focus chi for a solid lariat that sends him flipping and flying through the air behind you!

"How dare you!" the other three shout.

They rush you, trident weapons at the ready. You block Trident #2 with Barrier Magic, Tridents #3 and #4 come around on either side, you use Sound Magic to blast bass tones to keep them back. You then hit them with Disorientation Magic, and while they try to steady themselves, you pull them together with Binding Magic.

Trident #1 gets up, Trident #2 gets around the Barrier, you knock the bound #3 and #4 into #2 then kick Trident #1 to keep him back while you build more mana.

"Arcana Quintus," you say as you take aim. "Accudo!"

The arcane energy bluntly blasts Trident #1 in the chest and knocks him back like he was hit by a car. You look back at the other three, and see #2 trying to free #3 and #4 from your Binding Spell. You jump at him, take him down with a flying headlock into a DDT, then roll him over to use a higher level Disorientation Spell.

"Aaah...!" Trident #2 groans. "The world won't stop spinning..."

"Angustiæ Fortis," you say. "You won't be getting up for about an hour."

You head towards the water slide but three more Tridents appear! You take the water from the fountains and puddled on the ground and gather it all together in a swirling mass in front of Tridents #5, #6 and #7. You also prepare Wind Element as you surround the three Tridents with the water.

"Kori!!" you shout.

Instantly, all the water has become ice! The three Tridents shiver from within the frozen prison.

You continue on and see even MORE Tridents! But, wait, they're being handled by an elastic woman, a man with incredible strength, a boy with incredible speed, and a girl with violet colored energy barriers. In under a minute, these four have rounded up over two dozen Tridents!

"Incredible!" you say.

"Yes?" the strong man says as he turns to you.

"Oh, you're the family from the Torrent Tower," you say.

"W-What?" he says, a bit panicked. "No, you must have us mistaken with other park goers!"

"No, you are definitely them," you say. "The only things different are the masks you're wearing now."

"I knew we should've taken the time to get dressed in the costumes," the mother says.

"We wouldn't have stopped these fish men if we did, honey," the father reasons with his wife.

"Don't worry," you say. "I'm getting a hang of this superhero business myself. Your secrets are safe with me. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to find two of the young ladies I was with. Both grayish skin, one with pink hair and the other with darker purple."

"AH!!" Jinx shouts from nearby.

You look over, and see the ground starting to give way! Above it, you see Raven flying up, arms dragging Jinx along with her. On the ground, the cause of the pitfall is a fish man in blue armor. Another fish man with a bronze helmet uses his ax-on-a-rope to swing over the gap towards you, while a fish man with blue helmet and large sais jumps from the top of a food court kiosk!

You dodge the sai attack of the blue-helmet fish man, and the family of superheroes gets clear of the bronze-helmet fish man as he lands and swings his blade around on the rope.

"Raven, Jinx," you say. "Handle this one, I'll take care of the fish man making the hole!"

You spin and kick this sai-wielding fish man in the chin, Raven uses aura to make a platform for Jinx to push off of while upside-down. Jinx then uses her momentum to add power to her flip and heel kick, which hits the fish man in the shoulder.

You use barrier magic to make a floor over the huge hole the other fish man has made. He sees you slide towards him and lifts his hands up. He leaps at you with those hands held out, you use another barrier to be a shield and bounce him off the top. The fish man slides on the floor-barrier, you throw a Disorientation Spell at him, he blocks with his own hands and that somehow prevents the spell from landing. His fish-Atlantean biology must be resistant to magic.

The fish man runs back your way, you use Illusion Magic to make a clone of yourself. You flank the fish man, he isn't sure which one to follow. You reveal the magical charge you hid inside the Illusion Rorek and bring it close to the fish man.

"Hibike!" you shout.

The charge explodes with a loud rumbling sound! The fish man can't cover his ears for his own hands' powers of disintegration. Therefore, he falls to his knee from the pain in his ears.

"Arcana Quintus, Flumen!" you say.

A stream of Arcane energy flows from your finger and hits the fish man in the face like water from a fire hose, and he's knocked backwards and even off the magical floor-barrier. He staggers to his feet and knocks over tables and chairs of the food court area. You pursue, and he kicks those tables and chairs at you. You keep yourself guarded with a barrier, he reaches down to try and make the ground collapse again!

"Arcana Quintus, Geminus Accudo!"

You fire from both hands and hit him in the shoulders, denying his hands from touching the ground. He is a durable one, though, he gets right back up. Perhaps his armor is helping him.

You catch a glimpse of the others. Raven and Jinx are working well together with a combination of Raven's magic for platforms and Jinx's acrobatic agility that keeps the helmet-wearing sai-wielding fish man off balance.

As for the ax-swinging fish man, the family of superheroes keep each other safe from that blade on a rope, and then with a bit of misdirection through the children, they manage to tangle that rope on a light pole. With his weapon disabled, the bronze-helmet fish man takes a powerful punch from the father that sends the fish man spinning around that same light pole.

"You will not defeat the Deep Six!" your fish man opponent roars. "Slig will tear down this entire park down with his own two hands!"

You assume he is speaking in third person. Slig puts his hands on the side of the food court building and you see his power of disintegration starting to work.

"Avalon, Osaia, Agrisor, Erum!"

You reach your hands out at Slig and pull him down.

"Aaaah!" Slig shouts. "Slig... feels heavy...!"

Slig slowly falls backwards from his increased weight. He futilely reaches for the wall as he ends up arched on the ground, his feet maintaining contact. He can't get up, even after you stop applying the gravity pressure.

Your own arms are exhausted, but you manage to wrap things up by using Binding Magic on Slig.

In the following minutes after that, you, the Titans and the family of superheroes gather the Deep Six and the roughly thirty different Tridents into one giant fish net. The father with the incredible strength takes the net and drags it around to gain momentum. He gets it moving smoothly but not very fast or very high.

"Hoo boy..." he says as he stops, breathing a bit heavier. "This would've been much easier in my younger days."

"May I?" Starfire asks.

"Umm, well, I suppose if you think so," he says with a skeptical smile.

Starfire grabs the net, flies up, spins herself around as she swings the weight of almost three dozen fish men, and then lets go to send them all flying into the Pacific Ocean.

"Huh," he says.

"I'm not sure who thanks who in superhero team ups like this," the mother says, "so I'll just say it was great working with you."

"Same here," Robin says as he shakes hands with her and the father.

"Though, there's still work to do," the daughter says. "Those holes in the ground, and those poor people who got mutated."

"Oh, yes, um," you say. "I can fix both of those, but I need things from my knapsack first."

"On your bike?" Raven asks.

"Oh, that's true," you say.

"I'll get it," Raven says as she flies off.

"Oh, uh-- Alright..."

Raven returns a moment later, and you take possession of your knapsack. You pull out the moon dust.

"Raven," you say. "Take this and use it on the various structures Slig made fall apart. Remember to use the phrase 'Sosomme Tidiare'."

"Sosomme Tidiare," she repeats. "Got it. But, what will you be doing?"

"Fixing what the Deep Six mutated, of course," you say.

Raven goes over to the hole in the ground while you return to the main pool. Robin and Cyborg have gathered the victims of the mutation power and one by one, you use the hybrid Restoration Alchemy magic to fix what the Deep Six had changed. Each person says thank you, from the older adults to the younger children.

"Is that magic?" the son of the superhero family asks.

"Yes, actually," you say. "But keep it a secret."

"Cool," he grins.

"Thank you so much," the ponytail'd female employee from the Torrent Tower says as she walks over. "Is there anything we can do to repay you for all this?"

"Well, a refund of that $210 to get in would be nice," you say, "considering the repair costs we're saving you."

You nod to Raven as she sprinkles the moon dust and uses her mana to repair the collapsed ground.

"Um, well," the employee says, "I don't think our managers will allow that. But I'm pretty sure they'll allow the next best thing."

She hands you some sort of gift card.

"$200 for the food court," you say. "Well, I guess that is fine, then it's like we only spent $10."

"Hey could I get one of those?" the father says.

"Here you are," the employee says.

"Sweet," he says. "Thank you."

The employee heads back towards the Torrent Tower.

"So uh," the father says with a nervous and awkward scratch of his head. "I'm not sure how we go about the rest of our day. Never had to save the day at a water park before."

"We get stuff like this all the time," Beast Boy says. "We just roll with it. So how much was on that card again?"

"200," you say.

"Well, it's kinda awkward since we were all in our swimsuits and trunks," the father says as he motions to his family. "Everyone will know what we look like."

"We get that all the time, too," Cyborg says in reference to him and Beast Boy. "Hard blending in when you're half metal."

"And green," Beast Boy adds. "Okay, so, 200... the price for funnel cake is..."

"We can keep the masks on for now," the mother assures her husband. "Oh, there you are!"

The mother sees her baby in the stroller, their friends wheeling him back in from safety.

"You look so cute in your widdle mask," she baby talks her baby boy as she picks him up with elastic arms.

"So then, uh," the father says with another nervous head scratch. "See you around or...?"

"I don't see why we can't spend a little more time going around the park together," you say.

"Yeah!" the son says. "Can we, Dad? Huh? Can we? Can we?!"

"Well, it is if Mom says it's alright," the father says.

"Of course," the mother says as she cradles her youngest. "Especially if it means someone else can keep Dash's attention for awhile."

"Then before stopping for lunch," you say, "how about..."

"Another water slide!"

You and the Titans lead the way to the "Wonder Waves", but "Dash" zips past you to get in line. You and the Titans join him, with his sister afterward while the parents sit with baby "Jack Jack" on a nearby bench.

"So, uh," the sister speaks up though still shyly. "You already know my brother Dash. I'm Violet."

"Hello, Violet," Starfire says with a big smile. "I am Starfire. These are my friends and fellow Titans, Raven, Jinx, Robin, Cyborg, Beast Boy and Rorek."

Everyone says "Hello" or "Hi".

"So what powers do you guys have?" Dash asks with an eager grin. "I can already tell Cyborg's an awesome robot man, and I think I remember seeing Beast Boy become animals. Oh, and Rorek told me he has magic."

"We have capacity for magic, too," Jinx says. "Mine's mostly bad luck, though."

"And mine are strongly connected to my emotions," Raven says. "But I have more capacity than Jinx does."

"My powers are not magic, but they are connected to my emotions," Starfire says. "With the right feelings, I can fly, use superhuman strength, and even emit energy from my hands and eyes."

"I uh... I don't have any super powers," Robin shrugs.

"What?" Dash says in surprise. "Not a single one?"

"No," Robin says. "But, I was raised by a hero who proved you don't always need powers to save people, so long as you have a sharp mind and a working body."

"Oh..." the brother and sister nod in understanding.

You go up the stairs and to the top of the two wide lanes. Water rushes out much stronger on these than the other slides you've been out, and the curved slide makes for some real waves.

"Boys over here and girls over here," the employee directs. "One person to a raft."

"We should have a race to the bottom!" Dash says as the group splits up.

"No, your speed makes it like cheating," Violet says.

"Not if my legs stay on the raft," Dash says, showing that even the shortest raft is longer than he is tall.

"Well, there's also more boys than girls," Jinx points out.

"We'll race as individuals," Cyborg says. "I can even time it."

"Then start now!" Dash says as he dives into the slide.

Cyborg watches Dash go down the slide and even catch some air off the crests of the waves.

"He's not using his legs for speed, but he's still making great time," Cyborg says.

"Don't turn into an animal for your turn," Raven says to Beast Boy.

"Does it look like I'd resort to becoming a seal or otter to ride these waves?" he counters.

"Yeah pretty sure," Raven says.

Beast Boy grumbles as Violet takes her turn, shoving off into the water. Cyborg tracks her time, and then Beast Boy and Jinx and so on. You don't worry about the time, you enjoy the ride as you swoop down then come up then down then up with the rapids pushing you forward.

"Alright," Cyborg says once everyone has gathered at the end of the wave pool, "the winner of the race is... Raven!"

"Really?" she says, surprised as anyone.

"Not by much, though," Cyborg says. "You managed to beat Dash out by two tenths."

"Whoa...!" Dash, Violet and Beast Boy say.

"Then, as the winner," you say as you walk over to her, "Raven should decide what's next."

"Well, obviously lunch is next, right?" she says.
