To be fair BvS and Suicide Squad had a majority of positive reviews before the embargo lifted and release.

I think WW looks way better than both and I really want it to be good so the DCEU can stop stumbling and get off the ground.

This movie is good.

He has given movies that were met with worse critical reception about the same grade that I ended up 100% agreeing with him, he's my barometer.

Yeah, this is the only thing I have heard at all about Wonder Woman -- there are some women-only screenings and some men were mad about it. No ads, trailors, or recent mentions from friends.

i've seen the preview both times i went to the theater this year, and it actually looked like it could be okay. the fact that it's set a century or two in the past makes it a tiny more interesting to my brain

I've seen advertising for this all over the place. Dunno what rock you guys are sticking your heads under.

I've also seen a fair bit of excitement on some of the other online communities. Only B8 is determined to see this thing flop, it seems.

I started rooting for this movie around the first interview I saw of Gal Gadot. She is a fantastic interview.

Also Chris Pine is an amazing actor and I am up to 3 youtube movie reviewers I trust saying this is going to be great.

As the biggest comic book fan here, the first superhero movie from DC's universe I wanted to do well is in fact Wonder Woman, since she's the best of the Big 3.

There's been ads for WW on the back and inside of every DC comic for the past few weeks, so the date has been ingrained into my head. That's kind of cheating though.

I feel like a comic is the last place you'd need to advertise a comic book movie in, though. If you're into it enough to read new issues every week, you probably know that there's a movie coming out.

It's likely free advertising, but those are spaces they could be using for other ads.
