Yes No View Results Since a lot of people weren't really excited for the contest in the first place, there may be some people who aren't interested in seeing bonus polls for this contest. If you would like to see some bonus polls for this contest, you can suggest ideas for bonus polls other than the ideas I've proposed. If there are bonus polls for this contest, we should run 2 bonus polls on the day after the final. This means we'll have to use the round 1 match picture format (4 games per year). Here are some possible ideas for a bonus poll: Third Place Battle - 2001 vs. 1994 This seems pretty obvious, since this type of bonus poll has been done for the past 3 contests (Rivalry Rumble, Character Battle 2013, BGE 2015). The Character Battle one was technically a Fourth Place Battle due to the 3-way format of the contest. We don't know which 2 years are going to lose in the semifinal, but I'm going to guess 2001 loses next round and 1994 is definitely going to lose to 1998. Best vs. Worst Battle - 1998 vs. 1973 The expected winner of the contest should get a chance to participate in a bonus poll. 1973 was the worst year from the Vote-In polls and it would be interesting to see how much percentage 1998 can receive in a poll against 1973. The only issue here is creating a match picture for 1973, since it will be very hard to find 4 games of note to represent 1973 in a match picture. In the event 1998/1973 is not possible, we could swap out 1973 for 1978 instead. ??? - 2017 vs. 2007 or 1997 I have no idea what name to give to this bonus poll.
