My wife and I like several girl's names, but the only boy name we've picked out is Kyle. My best friend who died at 22 was named Kyle, so it's meaningful to me. Beyond that, boy names just seem harder to pick.

I mean, for babies. Because it's a human being who'll have to deal with that name. It's way different from naming a cat, where silly names are just fun.

My name is Kevin and my wife is Michelle, if that helps at all. You really do need to save your son from Willard. My father had to save me from my mother naming me Randy.

I don't know where I stand on Willard vs. Hawk. Both are bad. I also don't know where I stand on his mother's name being Mint.

On the one hand, it's kind of pretty and many languages name people words from those languages. It's actually odd that in English we don't.

Actually on that note, I guess that decides it. Hawk is better than Willard.

A friend just had a baby and named him Hawk. Practically everyone has made fun of her for it. Her grandma even called her to give her shit for that name.
