Mine isn't very large, but I've been slowly adding to it. So far I've got:

Zombie Survival Guide
World War Z

Robinson Crusoe

Dragonsbane

Wheel of Time series - all 14 main series books + the prequel

Malazan Book of the Fallen series - first 9 books, just need the tenth

Chronicles of Thomas Covenenant series - books 1-3, 6-8, and 10, so still missing 3 from this series

So, a whopping 35 books. Been looking for the Wheel of TIme Companion book with no luck, but it's not a pressing issue, so I haven't just broken down and ordered it. Will also start gathering The Dark Tower series after I finish up collecting the Thomas Covenant ones. Can't think of any other books I'm interested in reading though, so that's about it for now. As for the actual reading part, I read the zombies books, Robinson Crusoe, Dragonsbane, and the Wheel of Time books. I started on the Malazan series and read the first book, but stopped partway into the second one. I do plan to pick it back up though. Just been debating between starting it again, or going for Thomas Covenant.

Hmm. Hard to judge.

If we're including comics, it'd be easily over a thousand, possibly two thousand.

Just regular books/novels, though? Probably at least 60, not counting my girlfriend's almost-complete Stephen King collection.

I'm not at home right now, but it is not huge, there are a few books I have bought several times over because I donate them to libraries or wear them out. If you include ebooks I have on my computer, probably a few hundred, but physical probably only about a hundred.

Probably around 300 on shelves and another couple hundred in boxes because we ran out of shelf space. Hasn't been growing much lately though since we mostly have been buying ebooks.

Wasn't that book kinda racist?
I mean 90s White Wolf wasn't exactly good about it originally (the gypsy race being good at stealing being a big one) and I heard that book was extra racist.

I don't know, I'm not oriental myself so I don't have the background to tell when it's being insensitive like using the word "oriental".

I have no idea but I actually have a library in my home. I inherited my great grandparents, grandparents, and parents books along with my own. Many are well over 100 years old.

My gaming library is very large also.

Wowza. How many book shelves you got? I kinda fantasize having one of those rooms dedicated to just books. Oddly enough I would prefer this over a gaming room.

Ah okay. Would you want em on display on shelves if room permit? Part of me feel I should donate my physical books to my local library. Certain books I would reread occasionally, Lord of the Rings being one of them.

I used to have something like 300 books as a kid, but I eventually decided to sell/donate a bunch of books I know I will never read again. Now I probably have like half that.

If I get on a huge reading kick I just pick something up at the library, and if I like it enough I will buy it later.

No idea. I have two four foot tall bookcases that are full and a third that's 2/3 full.

When I read a book it goes to the third one. For e-books I have probably around 100ish but have only read 25 or so.

I've never actually counted, but it has to be at least 500 although that includes some children's series like Spooksville, Goosebumps, Clue, etc, which I got when I was younger. A large part of that is just library book sales which I pick up a lot of stuff each year, although I also got into the habit of checking out used book stores, etc. There's also no rhyme or reason to how I store them.

Graphic novels are at maybe another 30. Manga maybe 50. Ebooks... well, ebooks don't really matter but I have tons of public domain ones on one of my other computers.

Granted, most years I only read 2-3 books so... it's a little out of balance.

i have room for them, it's just i don't really care about books for display. like, i rebought all my physical books digitally, if that's any indication.

an exception to that is my complete (so far) collection of hardback dresden files books. that shits on display.
