I'll leave the Team Sign-Up topic open for a little bit longer before eventually closing the topic. After the topic is closed, if you still need to confirm your team name, this is the topic to resolve these issues.

The Sign-Up topic, along with the predictions topics will be archived so they can be used if someone steps up to add the predictions and teams to the Oracle Challenge website. Until then, I won't be able to provide results from each day of matches.

We won't be getting results each night because that requires setting up the Oracle Challenge website for this contest. We need someone like King Morgoth (or maybe someone else) to set up that website.

Part of the excitement is the instant gratification of seeing yourself go up or down the leaderboard!

The database itself is easy to update. Especially with this few matches. I could do that no problem.

The scripts are theoretically easy to run too if you know how. Assuming the old scripts still run that is. I just don't know how to do it.

It would be easy to keep track of on a google spreadsheet due to how few matches/competitors there are. It would probably take about 15 mins per match, if that. I just don't have the time to do it that way like last time as my job is different now and doesn't involve me being sat at a computer anymore.

I can see if I can put something together regarding scoring, but it will probably take a few days.

And then I tone it down for 1995 because apparently earlier years DO have a little relevance no matter how obscure the games of that year are.

This is definitely one of the hardest contests to predict so far (at least in terms of percentage).

Just hand me whatever data you already have.

It's just the difference between your prediction and the final percentage. Think there is also a 5 point penalty if you pick the wrong year to win.

Unfortunately, collecting the predictions is about 95% of the work. I've only entered the predictions up to the start of the contest. I do plan to make a spreadsheet or something with the predictions. I just need time to put it all together.

The top 5 pickers for each match earn bonus points, so it'd be good to keep that in mind.

My early random predictions before we seen any match pics continue to work, which means I won't change any of the ones I already made for tomorrow's match, despite me being not very confident in them.

My 1987 percentage is way off, but it looks like the majority of everyone's is as well.

I'm actually pretty happy even if it might be due to far lower activity than usual. For a long while now my strategy was the try and get a really early top 5 since a late contest Top 5 was unlikely. So I was actually a bit down after I saw that I was only 11th after what I thought was a pretty good Round 1 and 2. Then somehow, I nailed double 49.5+ scores for Round 3 and 4. And then I blew up in Round 6 like I always knew I would hence my focus on an early Top 5.
