Well, no.

It doesn't make it more prestigious when it's just the title that they're fighting for because the other guy with the better title just isn't around. It makes it look like a backup title now more than any other time. Like, would these guys go "Yeah, I'll fight for that title now" if Brock Lesnar was around going "Hey look at me and my belt!" Of course not.

So it just feels like something to fill that void without the Universal Title.

Because Roman is the only one allowed to look strong. If Finn gets too good that will threaten Roman, since Finn had a clean win over him during Roman's drug induced losing stretch that put him down to the midcard where he belongs right now.

Doesn't AJ have a US title shot though? Why would it go to Corbin there when AJ is the number 1 contender?

I'm really not sure why they had Owens drop the title to Jericho in the first place, since Jericho's tour starts so soon. If it's just going to go back to Owens, there seems to be no purpose. I could understand if they used this to transition the title to another heel (do they still consider AJ a heel?)

Well, it's his first loss. He's one of the few guys who looks legitimately badass still. He is the guy that was the first Universal Champion, beat Seth with all of those injuries, and has been protected really well in his debut. And then Miz has been treated like a joke on Raw so far.

Like yeah, sure. Bray Wyatt interfered, but Miz still pinned Finn Balor for his first loss with no fanfare or anything. Why not just have Bray devastate Finn on the outside and then have Joe screw Rollins on the inside? Rollins can take a loss easier. Not Finn just seems like another dude. And why make someone just a dude when they can be something more than that? Because we have enough just a dudes.

I don't think he is hurt by this because of his demon king persona. If he goes on to PPV beat Bray is anyone going to remember this? Not really. It's a bit of an overreaction.

I don't think it matters for Balor to lose because Bray interfered, it's not as if having never lost on the main roster was a big selling point for him or anything, he's only had like six matches total due to his injury. Since coming to Raw his set backs are still limited to an injury (that he fought through to win) and spooky cult man using spooky cult teleporting powers to ambush him in a triple threat match.
