From the prior topic, need to know if the calculator is borked and I should stop using it for planning.

I was referring to the TMRs and equipment that I currently have (or will have) available. Based on the calculator, my Gilgamesh would come in at 899 with all of my best available stuff, and Chizuru would come in at 898. If Chizuru can only hit 820 the calculator seems to be hugely inaccurate though.

You need to look at weapon masteries, since before I myself compared Luneth and Gilgamesh before I decided on blademaster.


Gilgamesh will be superior to most units once you get him rolling. Do not underestimate him.

Post what you used, since the highest I can get is 871atk IF I use Genji Glove instead of a second Bracer.

Chizuru: 871atk.

Genji blade+Excalibur.

Black Cowl, Brave Suit, genji glove/bracer.

Blade mastery+Equip Long Sword+Quick Assault 2x.

Odin.

With Dual Wield: 826atk.

Do any of the other King Mog events have a base 5 that can effectively solo elite with the right buffs and/or attack power. Going to be done with this one by the end of the day (aside from chasing more red orbs for mass gil).

Instead of grinding the FFT event for more gil, I find myself going ahead on the story instead. This is going to come back to bite me when enhancements are available.

You all really should have considered burning a little *Mythril to get Y'shtola if you were at all close. I just barely made it but I would've absolutely been willing to drop a few hundred *Mythril if needed. Oh well.

Oh, yeah. Each 100 lapis gave around 27.5k at the end.

So I think that'd be around 1300 lapis on top of the 200 you spent to nab Y'shtola. Probably worth it particularly if you need a healer or like the trust mastery but it is far enough out that it's not a "you were a dumb head for not burning lapis to do this' move particularly cause doing that many refreshes would be pretty time consuming!
