To answer the question in the previous topic: all-cavalry teams benefit from the class-specific Ward/Goad/etc. skills which are much more potent than the regular variety. Armour and fliers get these too (and there's one for dragons now so more may be on the way) but it's much harder to get four of those + neither has any mages + flier weakness is more common.

Sully murders Reds (Sapphire Lance + Swordbreaker) and is well rounded statwise, but I don't think she has the firepower to kill Blue/Colorless without inheriting a +dmg special. Definitely worth using if you have her at 5.

It was a special login bonus for Android users specifically for some odd reason. Even though I'm mainly on iOS, I just downloaded the game on an Android device in my house and logged in through that to get it.

Everyone playing on Android got a free 4* CorrinF. People on iOS got nothing. Although, they can log on on an Andrioid device to get the character.

okay last topic was about full so didn't get into it.

Gunter: Hone Cavalry (+6 ATK/SPD for cavs adjacent to him), 4* C
Jagen: Fortify Cavalry (+6 DEF/RES for cavs adjacent to him), 4* C
Reinhart: Goad Cavalry +4 ATK/SPD for cavs within 2 spaces) 4* C
Eilwood/Olwen: Ward Cavalry (+4 DEF/RES for cavs within 2 spaces) 4* C

since 4* is super easy to get to it's just a matter of getting a couple of those units. personally i've got Jagen, Eilwood, and Gunter. Jagen in particular is super good for skill inheritance purposes since he gets Aegis, Fortify Cav, and Fury 2 at 4*.

on top of the ease of use, the extra move is a big deal for cavs with attack/speed buffs because they just dart in and leave with seemingly no way to stop 'em. if it's a mage like Ursula (missing C and Assist) or Cecilia (missing B and special) it becomes fucking absurd. that's why i mused at the idea of using Nino's magic with Cecilia, though the loss of effectiveness against colorless would be missed. at the same time the stat buff is crazy.

...Ursula and Odin is also worth considering. her spell's advantage is against other cavs, Odin is blue version of Nino's. he also can give Moonbow, if her super special is too long. she'd be very different but also very hard to stop.

Yes. At least one good 5* unit. Some people go for 2 or even 3 or more. It depends on how much time and effort you want to spend. How much you want to favor characters you like over characters that are good is also up to you.

could change the special to something offensive if you don't think that defensive special is doing enough.
could also get something in the A slot too since she has nothing there. Defiant Attack if she goes into that <50% HP could be good. Deathblow is a given but harder to get.

If you switch back, the Orbs come back. You don't lose them permanently.

Basically how it works is that iOS and Android have their own individual 'stock' for orbs. So what you earn on Android stays on Android and what you earn on iOS stays on iOS.

Though to be safe, I just emptied out my orb stock on summons before logging in on an Android device.

When I began re-rolling the second week the game was out, I told myself that I would keep going until I either got a great 5* character with decent support or Hector in particular. I ended up rolling Takumi one time, but I didn't get anything to go with him.

At that point I decided I'd at least see what a second roll would get, since that only takes like an extra 20 minutes to check, and I didn't especially want to lose Takumi.

Pulled a Hector next batch. So I feel like that's a decent route to go when re-rolling. Go either until you get the most insane pull ever, or go until you get something you like, then play enough for one more batch, and if you whiff, then you can try again, knowing you only wasted a half hour or so for a chance at fantastic upside.

What I would say to people rerolling is don't set your sights on anyone in particular who isn't a focus character. I probably did a solid 200-250 rerolls and never once saw Hector, Takumi, Lucina, etc. I saw 1 Azura but it was on a garbage roll. You very rarely see 5*'s that aren't focus and are high in the tier rankings which makes sense since each focus character is like 0.5% chance whereas the others are like 3% divided by the number of 5*'s possible which is a lot.

I'd say reroll on a PC (it takes 3-5 mins) and settle on an account that has either multiple 5*'s or a 5* with solid 4*'s. You get like 50 orbs straight away so can do 2 rolls and can get to a 3rd roll in like 15-20 mins if you have an account that looks promising.

Can't be bothered doing the actual math but quick head math says you get 2x 5*'s off 2 multi-pulls roughly every 11-12 rerolls

Also are we due a new banner soon? I got up to 60 orbs and want to roll but already have 3 of the focus characters on this banner so don't want to roll on it again.

There should be a new banner when the Michalis Great Hero Battle comes in. It doesn't bring in any new characters though, just focus on certain characters.

So this skill inheritance thing, the unit you lose has to be able to learn the skill to transfer?

So for example, the 2* Matthew you start off with has Poison Strike 1/2/3 learned at 3/4/5*. If I want to give Poison Strike 3 to Jaffar, the Matthew has to be 5*? Because when I try feed him to Jaffar as a 2* no Poison Strikes turn up.

That is correct. They have to be able to learn it with SP to pass it on

Couldn't resist pulling as I had 80+ orbs and I don't have a lot of units.

Nothing I really wanted but still a pretty good pull I think. Glad I did the second pull as Cain/Lucius/Caeda all came on the second pull.

Considering that the market for these games is at its biggest in Japan, isn't it to our benefit if they do most of the work for us?

It's still day time in Europe, so it's not like they won't be chipping in.

It's only the Americas that are screwed in participating, but that affects everyone who plays the game throughout the world.

Well the fairest thing to do would be to give each player X amounts of attempts at it during a 24 hour period rather than only opening for 45 minutes at a ridiculous time.

Here's how I did it real quick.

What you need

Great Archer. I used 40 Takumi but you could use another one I suppose.
LV 40 (possibly 39 depending on stat ups?) Olivia, or a 5* blue dancer I suppose
Any random dude with a + defense aura
A red mage lv 40

Sneak up the right side. Have your archer pick off the blue flier, then dance him back with a dancer who had been plus defensed

Have the red horse come down and knock Olivia to 1hp

Blow up Michallis with your red mage danced x2

Attack the red horse with your archer to get him out of Bow break status.

Clean up
