The icey mountain area in the northwest has a lot of great animals for raw prime meat and gourmet meat. The wolves, foxes, deer, and buffalo all drop them, sometimes up to 3 at a time.

Cooking 5 raw prime meat makes a meat skewer that sells for 210 rupees, and cooking 5 gourmet meat makes a meat skewer that sells for 490 rupees. Really easy to just run through with a horse, hop off and fire an arrow, pick up the meat, and make some big money while exploring a bit.

Raw Gourmet meat, there's a repeatable quest for someone at one of the stables, they'll buy it for 100 rupees each. Better than cooking them together slightly, anyway.

What I've done for rupees is basically entirely gem based. Primarily through farming Talus enemies. (the giant stone golem minibosses.)

There's 3 in particular that I quickly go dispatch each blood moon cycle.

Location/Strats:One is south of Dueling Peaks, another is NW of Hateno Tower (from the top, you should see this plateau of sorts that you can glide to), and finally one west of Tabentha Tower in a crater.

They're super easy to fight. Just land/climb on top of them and go to town on the ore structure on their back. Sledgehammers seem to do bonus damage because they hit way harder than their damage would suggest (though high end weapons are still better, just you can pick up sledgehammers for free at like any town) The first two go down in like 7 sledgehammer hits, last guy has a bit more HP.

Beating them causes them to drop a bunch of gems. The crater one drops better ones to go with his higher HP pool. There are other Talus encounters I've found but they're either harder to fight or not super convenient to reach (those 3 I can literally reach in a single glide from a warp point.)

And aside from that I make sure to go after any ore deposit I see that is reasonable to get to.

Honestly I've found hitting up the town/stable shops is fastest, provided you have the rupees for it. Otherwise... I noticed I got a ton on my way to Zora's Domain from the lizalfos on/near the road there, with critical hits I was downing them in 1/2 arrows and they kept dropping 5-10, it was crazy.

Haven't quite figured out the restock cycle on shops though so at times I get low on them and the shops are out and I have to improvise. Or use the special arrows for a bit since I hoard them and end up having like 70+ of each. >_>

Get one Moblin horse archer to follow you somewhere secluded and then run around in a circle for 10 minutes.

Cook food and potions with expensive ingredients. Usually a bug (firefly cuz they are easy to collect on mass) + 4 monster parts = 100-200 rupee sell value potion. You can do a Hyrule Castle run for lots of super expensive monster parts. Prime meat + salt + other stuff makes for very expensive food too.

It's not great armor unless you have star fragments.

I spent 3 hours save scumming an amiibo trying to get one.

Then I sat by a fire and changed it to noon and got one.

RNG makes you crazy sometimes.

Yiga Hideout is actually starting to piss me off just a bit. This game's stealth mechanics aren't good enough to justify punishing you with 4-5 instakilling enemies in a stretch that has no checkpoints.

I get 850 rupees per play at the Super Guts Challenge north of Death Mountain

So long as you have full climbing gear and at least 1 additional stam bar (aka 5 stam upgrades) it's pretty doable. Costs 100 rupees for one attempt, so ~750 rupee profit.

If need tip on how... the first forking path, I think greens on the left and a red rupee on the right, take the right path and continue along til you reach the top. After you've reach the top, instead of finishing just climb over to the left for a Silver rupee, continuing left to the ledge below. From this point jump down again to a red rupee, and climb back up for a Silver, continuing back up to the next ledge. Last one... faaaar off to the left, just jump off and glide for a bit and you can find a trail of Green rupees that lead to a Gold rupee, just focus on landing on the wall at the Gold. Safely climb further left to the last ledge, then make your way to the top!

I killed a Mobile Guardian once by just cutting out its legs one at a time
and a stationary one just by shooting arrows into its eye each time it tried to look at me

Just got the Master Sword last night. I went through this super dark area and it was kinda a pain and had to fight a Hinox basically completely blind and it was pretty intense. I was hoping the area would light up after I finished the shrine :/ It had some cool statues and stuff.

Oh! Has anyone figured out what's up with Mekar Island east of the Lost Woods?

How do you even scan the amiibos? I tried scanning wolf link a few times and I was either in the wrong place or I couldn't figure out how to scan it correctly.

From what I understand, you need to enable amiibo scanning in the options menu (you'll get a new amiibo ability on your Sheikah Slate).
