also supposedly there is a 15 percent chance to get a 5 star on the wyvern banner if you pull on green orbs only

I figured that there wouldn't be any new tower quests, but I'm still a little disappointed that we're back to the one daily '20 kills' orb. I'd like to try to get bunny Lucina before the banner ends, and losing those extra two orbs a day is going to make it much tougher to accomplish. On the other hand, though, the wyvern and pegasus knight banners that went live today are tempting me, too - I still don't have Hinoka, Cordelia, or Minerva. The fact that I may pull Subaki is keeping me in check, thankfully.

apparently the focus units stack in probability.
So if there are a lot of focus characters the same color, they stack meaning

3% regular chance +3% for every focus, which in this case there are 4 so it's a 15% chance

I thought tower quests would be a regular thing. I'm kind of getting annoyed there is no regular event for orbs and that all of these things are just "special events" meaning when they end we are left in the dark if the game will ever get orbs again

I like the Wyvern Banner because I don't pull greens. So I don't have to worry about pulling a focus character that I don't want when pulling my blues. Well, if I had orbs.

I had a $25 gift card, so I went ahead and bought more orbs with it. I was trying to pull from the wyvern banner at first, but there were literally no green orbs in most of my attempts and I was pulling characters like Barst for the hundredth time when they actually did show up, so I switched back over the the Spring banner to try to get Lucina again. Pulled my fourth Xander instead. Cripes.

Well I finally broke 4600, got 4608. I didn't use any Red units, literally fucking faced... six. SIX NINOS. SIX FUCKIGN NINOS WITH EIRIKA SUPPORT AND FURY 3 AND UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF + *foams at mouth* The time it wasn't a Nino was a Julia btw

As to how I managed to still somehow beat them with no casualties with a team of Bunny Chrom, Sharena, Ninian, Hector with 0 merges between them and like at least 4 skills not at lvl 3 cuz I hate this game and don't wanna grind forever... literal decades of playing Fire Emblem. That's how.

Oh, here's a fun tip. There were a shitload of Ninians. Funny thing about dancers, pay attention to which ones CPU moves first. If the dancer doesn't have a danceable unit within max move when it's "their turn" to move, they don't dance. I abused the shit out of this AI flaw

Last edit: My team has like 3 Sol users and 3 move based skills by the way. And of course Ninian's dance, so really 4 movement skills. Rally attack isn't nearly as useful as reposition. Reposition is seriously one of the best skills in the game. No guide on earth will tell you to build the team like I did. But this sort of build can win games. You just have to be really really creative

how did you get 4600? Isn't only bunny Chrom a bonus unit on your team?

Only 1 bonus unit doubles the score. The rest is just standard scoring

4600 is pretty much like one of the highest scores you can get as an average luck F2P though, considering I'm using all infantry except an armor in Hector. Using 1 ranged is gonna decrease the score per round by like 10+, which puts you in the low 4500s.

But considering every opponent you face has a ranged with a shitload of merges and Fury 3, winning with a full infantry team needs jank and counter strat like mine

I don't use range and I use a bonus unit and I only get like 4200 every week.

the top scores for me wouldn't even add up to 4600, my scores I can get are about 640 max, but it varies

Fliers, horses, 4* or below, they all give low Arena scores. You just need a high stat total on your team, and if that's not possible, put Fury on a few of them. Maybe that sort of meta will change with the arena changes but who knows. It's a really crappy system tho, and if you aren't using armored or infantry, 640 is a classic score

Camilla and Ninian have low total, especially cuz Brave Axe speed decrease actually factors into the stat total, and NInian has like average to low BST

Kagero makes Arena a joke - I used mine for the first time this week and completed my first no-death run thanks to how she murders 90% of the competition. The characters I use don't have the highest amount of stats, though (Kagero, Eirika, Nino, and Azura), so I ended up with 4,382 points by the time it was all said and done. That currently puts me at rank 4,400, so we'll see how far I slip by the end of the week. It's been a long time since I actually placed anything higher than 50,000+, though, since I never prioritize stat totals or worry about losing units. I believe I normally had somewhere between 4,100 and 4,200 points in the past, so I'll be interested to find out how much those extra 100-200 points matter.

I've had my Kagero since launch, though - pulled her as a 4 star and trained her up and promoted her after it became clear how great she was. It helps that mine is +SPD -DEF, too, which is one of her better natures, seeing as how she's already made of tissue paper and that extra speed helps her double more easily, especially after I gave her Fury 3.

Looking back, I'm glad I pulled her so early in the game's life, as someone pointed out that it's much harder to pull her nowadays, what with all of the units that have been added to the game since then. You can really apply that to anyone you want, really, but the point remains. What's especially painful about trying to pull for her is the fact that almost all of the colorless units are seen as weak when compared to everyone else.
