I love interactions like this:
I have high tide gyojin, and set order to charge, opponent has 2 headed rex and 2 set cards.

Opponent plays black pendant on 2 headed rex, activates metalmorph on 2 headed rex, attacks
I activate order to charge, sac gyojin
Opponent activates magic jammer, discards last card in hand to use it
I activate trap jammer
Order to charge destroys 2 headed rex with pendant and metalmorph

Opponent has no cards in hand or on board and promptly loses. I just love these long chains, it's intense

I lost to a card with 500 attack once. I had just tribute summoned Blue Eyes and gotten rid of my opponent's defense monster. He draws and plays that light charmer girl, takes my Blue Eyes and destroys me :(

Down to 112 packs and I finally got ONE Ancient Dragon.

What cards can I use for this use a spell 5 times in one duel condition to unlock Yami Yugi?

Uh, just pack your deck full of spells and battle some generic duelist? Maybe stuff like "deal damage to opponents' LP" would be good

Well you don't want too many continuous or equip spells because they stay on the field and you may not get a chance to play five of them

Wow, I forgot you could even get a draw but I just got one. They had no way to win but used a half shut on their own Relinquished.
Topic title really is appropriate when you are King of Games rank and still encounter that thing in 8/10 duels (or at least evidence of them, such as Sonic bird grabbing their spell)

Stage 48 is gonna suck. You have to use each characters main card three times. Dark Magician, Blue Eyes, Barrel Dragon, etc. You even have to use Blast Held by a Tribute 3 times.

Most of those are doable - Red Eyes pulling double duty helps things tremendously, and DMG can combo into DM decks if you've dueled Level 40 Tea enough.

But God I am not looking forward to using Insect Queen.

Wondering if I should get Bazoo and a 2nd Polymerization card from the trader

If I recall correctly, it gets worse... They have to be normal summoned- no special summoning.
I just threw them all into a deck with plenty of draw power and fought level 10 weevil three times, took care ofneverything except the Blast (it probably helped that I had multiple copies of them all except Barrel Dragons so after the second duel, blue eyes, dark magician girl, the ultimate fisherman, and dark magician were all already done for me)

I got Summoner of Illusions! Now I can just Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon everything to death right?

2 problems, that I found otu the hard way:
1) He's a flip. It only lasts until end of turn, so if he gets blown up on the opponents turn, you get a BEUD who...stops attacks and not much else for that turn only.
2) You have to tribute a monster to do it, so if he gets blown up on the opponent's turn, you're losing 2 monsters for 1 turn of basically no damage. Not worth it imo.

Now if you can get lucky enough to flip him on your turn somehow, that's great, but I don't see how that ever happens unless you like, activate mirror wall prematurely or something.

Magic Arm Shield or getting lucky on Magical Hats are the only real options. Cyber Stein is a lot more viable at this point, if only because of Zolga and Enchanted Javelin.

Magic Arm Shield works by dragging an opponent's face-up monster to your side of the field and auto-redirecting an attack to that monster. It can only be activated while you control a monster, but have an empty monster slot, so therefore when you have 1 or 2 monsters. It has the practical effect of negating one attack while you take marginal damage, or in the best case scenario, your opponent killing their weaker monster against their own strong monster.

It's best used if your opponent would be in a beatdown scenario that would kill you; i.e. "if I kill this monster and attack you directly, I win". That's the most likely time where they'll have two face-up monsters. It is decidedly a comeback card or a "I hope you went second if you got this in the opening hand and aren't running Switcheroo Bandit Keith" card, but it's one of the very few means of attack negation. Even still, I'd recommend running it in a fusion deck, preferably with Bubonic Vermin for the sake of tribute fodder and deck thinning.

Guess I should use that more often. Should I be using a 20 card deck? That seems to be what everybody in the game uses regardless of Stage level.

Just hit Platinum 1. I've lost one duel so far. I figure that's gotta be pretty good.

I try to keep my deck as close to 20 as possible. But i think going a bit above that is fine.

I think going above is fine as long as there's enough synergy to make the dupes not be dead draws. The problem comes when you get some new good cards that you wanna use even if they don't make sense in the deck, unless they're just that good. Like in my fusions deck, I was running 2 blue-eyes and BEUD, but decided to take them out because more often than not they were just dead draws whenever I got them, and it was too many hoops to get BEUD out. Whereas if you have a mako deck, and you pack it full of stuff like unshaven angler, needle sunfish, and others, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Stage 30 Yugi more bulls*** than Vagabond. Faced him 5 times now and every time he has the same opening combo. This time he had 3 of the spell equip so his 1 monster he summoned got 2,400 attack and I couldn't do a f***ing thing.

Get some Riryoku's, unlock Bandit Keith to get Metalmorph.

I haven't seen Riryoku lately. I managed to beat him after like 8 tries so I finally unlocked Yugi and his laughable starter deck. I won a Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon from Joey too. Even stage 30 seems to give s*** rewards often sadly. Tea gave me stuff I could've easily gotten from even NPCs.
