On the final boss of what is by far the worst game I've ever played to completion. Any takers?

(warning: it's a doozy... a pretty well-liked game, especially amongst fans of its series)

Kirby's Dream Land 2

Ugh. I usually love Kirby but for the first time ever I can truly say... Kirby es dum.

King's Quest (2015) PC

The last couple chapters are kinda emotional. Enjoyed that game quite a bit, even if I had to play the first three chapters twice due to losing the save.

Kirby's Dream Land 2

I was expecting a more famous, universally loved game. That being said, Kirby Dream Land 2 might be my third favorite Kirby game, so I'm a little surprised at this being the game.

Actually I had to beat the final boss three times. The first I didn't get 100% on purpose because I wanted to see the changes to the ending, then the second time I messed up because I didn't realize the dances you had to trade to get counted towards the 100% and had to go back and beat it a third time.

Lost Dimension (Vita)

Hmm... I could work my way through all the enemies in the level to get to a switch like the developers intended. Or I could use the dude with teleportation powers to skip through a door, teleport the rest of my team in, and kill the level's target before the enemies have so much as had a turn.

I love it when games have the potential creative strategies like that. This game was great

Rhythm Heaven

Had this sitting around for a few years (I think I bought it during the "Chorus Kids for Smash 4" hype) and finally played it this weekend. Pleasantly surprised, but a few of those things were really stupidly anal about accuracy, particularly with the flicks. Remix 9 was a Goddamn fucking nightmare.

That was a nice way to spend the late afternoon/early evening, but I do hope they continue the story with another chapter. Maybe have that kid join the two as like their computer person or whatever.

NiGHTS Into Dreams...

I honestly didn't know what to expect going in other than it was apparently deserving of being the 10-seed of all Generation 5 games in the original BGE bracket. For what it was it was a cute and fun little game and I'd recommend it. I'll also be playing the Wii sequel.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (XBO)

Fun gameplay, but I was glad to be done with it near the end. Main story and main characters were pretty boring. Sidequests and side characters were pretty fun! Exploring Prague was fun, just unfortunate that I was less interested in doing it in the later versions of Prague because I couldn't be bothered checking all the apartments again just to see if anything had changed.

I played this with my brother back in the day but he was the one controlling it then. This time it was just me, and man I hadn't realized this was such an old-style puzzle/adventure game. It's still a neat concept and story but it was hard to control and most of the puzzles were so obtuse
