Pikachu.

This makes too much sense. I just evolved Pikachu into Raichu---for the first time ever mind you; i'm super nerdy and usually keep him as Pikachu because the Pokemon Anime is scarred into my brain---and all I can think is "imagine if he evolved AGAIN".

Make it something ridiculous ala Dragonite where he doesn't evolve until level 60 or something.

As far as Nintendo's concerned, Raichu is the third evolution.

I don't see them ever expanding their lines to four.

Raichu's perfect as is though! One of the best Pokemon ever.

I think a Parasect evolution would be seriously badass. Or one for Magcargo, even.

Raichu evolves into.....Pikachu

You know, now that I say that, it would be kinda neat to have a dual nature kind of pokemon that would 'evolve' every 5-10 levels into its alternate form and back again. Like, there could be two kinds coded into the game so that at max level you could end up with either type.

Technically, Raichu is that line's second evolution, first evolution being Pikachu.

I don't see them adding third evolutions for a very long time.

Maybe a branched evolution for Murkrow, but not an evolution for Honchkrow.

The line already has three pokemon in it. They'll never add another one. In fact, I would bet they regret Raichu, the later Pikachu clones don't evolve and Nintendo is happy to let them remain the cute, useless electric pokemon.

.... but Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu, and Emolga have kinda worn out the appeal of 'chu lookalikes, I'm not sure if anyone would be willing to accept an actual new member of the Pikachu line anymore

It's pretty highly speculated that Kangaskhan was meant to be a Marowak evolution in the first place, so I could definitely see those two lines being connected someday.

That being said, I'm surprised they didn't go with past-gen evos in Black and White, especially since there were some opportunities. I'm not extremely familiar with all of the Gen 5 Pokemon yet (hell, there are some Gen 4's and even a couple Gen 3's that I'm not entirely familiar with by name), but I definitely see some in there that could work as evolutions of Tauros and Luvdisc, and a pre-evo of Stantler, among others.

bah, I know it's the only way it works but I want a new bone! Is there any Pokemon that can be evolved from two different Pokemon anyways?
