Never underestimate the power of stupidity in numbers. ~War13104 Never stoop to the level of idiots. They will drag you down and beat you with experience.
Many of the weaker games in the series. Too bad. Then again, why was i expecting DS games on the Wii lol. Needs Air Ride even though I have it. Also Dream Course and Pinball Land

I totally expected DL3, Adventure, Superstar and 64, and having DL1 and 2 on there is a nice touch as well (even though I am buying this I will probably still buy DL2 for 3DS). Only ones I fully expected that didn't make the cut was that Japan-only Baseball one, and I half-expected Amazing Mirror.

I own Adventure on NES. CONQUERED it when I was a kid
Played Superstar to death when we rented it all of the time back in the day, and as mentioned , I have it on VC
rented Kirby 64 once and beat it. all I remember is that kirby teams up with Dedede and the painter chick, as well as the Darth Maul lightsaber
Dream Land, briefly played it when a friend handed me his gameboy for several minutes wayy back in the day and the rest I haven't played though I hear KDL3 is pretty damn good. I'm sure the price, assuming its like 30, will be worth it for those, and for Kirby 64.
I own all these games already (missing Dream Land 2 since I lost it, but it's coming to the 3DS anyway.) but it's great for people getting into the Kirby series.

Superstar also had a DS remake, but I'm sure you knew that.
Oh, and Adventure is also on the 3DS Virtual Console as a "3D Classic." It's pretty much the exact same game with the sprites popping out in 3D mode.
Aye, that's why I said "as well." >_> I have Superstar Ultra, the 3D Classic Adventure, and VC Dreamland. Blockball and Amazing Mirror too, if I'm naming the rest of the Kirby games on my 3DS.
It's missing several of the series' best games - Block Ball and Amazing Mirror are phenomenal, as is Canvas Curse. Though of course, the latter couldn't be included for obvious reasons. >_>
It's still a really solid lineup, though... and being a life-long Kirby fan, I'll most definitely buy it. For my money, it's Nintendo's second-most consistent series, behind Wario. (It's be #1 if it wasn't for Squeak Squad. What the HELL was that?)

Heh, I remember looking for my copy of Air Ride last week and still haven't played it yet. But multiple City Trial maps for the hypothetical Air Ride 2 would just be the bomb. Especially if one of them was the original Air Ride City Trial (and knowing Sakurai, that may happen).

Nintendo should really allow Sakurai to make another Kirby game, I mean say what you want about Brawl (which I don't have anything against) but after Kid Icarus: Uprising I still think he's got it!
Plus he's the freakin' creator! He should have a lot of say into being able to make another game.
Nintendo's Kirby 20th Anniversary compilation for Wii is mostly just a collection of old games. Mostly. There is some new content on the disc, Weekly Famitsu reveals in this week's issue.
[...]
The biggest of the new elements is "Motto Challenge Stage," or "More Challenge Stage." Based off a mode of play from last year's [Return to Dreamland], More Challenge Stage has players try for the score while making use of particular copy abilities. Examples include "Sword Challenge" and "Fighter Death Match." The game includes over 10 stages.
The other new piece of content is something we mentioned in our earlier report. The game includes an on-disc calendar recapping the Kirby series. This mode is titled "Kirby History" and it includes not just the Kirby games, but manga, anime and other products.
