From: GenesisSaga | #146 I do not remember Ash commanding a Breloom. 269 was that clue so it was Rapidash. Breloom was the "Fun Guy" (get it, huh, huh, do ya?)
Blaine told you, Fire Blast should be taught to Rapidash!
Breloom's arms stretch btw.
Rapidash is also cool enough to play with the cool fire kids in Gen I. lolmagmar isn't.
268 - Rhyperior 267 - Teenage girl as in that it looks like a teenage girl or that it is a pokémon that a teenage girl would use? 266 - What the hell is Maury?
-- SuperNiceDog won the Guru contest super nicely!
268 - Stantler 267 - Froslass, because everything that actually fits this clue has already appeared (Meloetta, Gothitelle, f*** even Lopunny and Jynx fit this clue better than Froslass does. Kirlia fits this clue pretty well, but Gardevoir doesn't; it looks more like an adult woman.) 266 - Ditto

So... yeah, no power at my house. I'm at my school now just to check e-mail and stuff. If someone keep this bumped that would be awesome since apparently Baltimore might be without power for a week.
I'm not necessarily a Normal-type hater, but I find it hard to like a Normal-type common animal Pokemon. I know a lot of Pokemon are based off of something, but they feel so lazily designed. Sure Furret is cute, but I feel like I can pick one up at Petsmart, there's no creativity or coolness to be had here. As a typical route 1 rodent, it's in NU tier. Furret doesn't even have a B/W strategy on Smogon. I mean Keen Eye, Run Away and a hidden ability of Frisk? It may as well not even have an ability. I think I heard of a hack where all the rodents had another type and there was something like Sentrice which would have at least been something, but Furret is just a kind of boring Pokemon as is.
I guess that clue sucked. If Magmar is a girl, it's a total butterface. The design is a bit uninspired as it's basically just a guy on fire, but it's cool enough. However, why is it making a duck face and why does it have an ass on it's forehead? It's ugly for no good reason. When last it was a FE Pokemon, it was in UU tier (pre NU's existence). I enjoyed Magmar in the anime in the Blaine vs. Ash match, but beyond that it's still lame. Also, Magby is pretty terribad, and I'll save my opinion of Magmortar for when it shows up.
Well, the clue didn't exactly suck, but most of us took it literally and Froslass is the only FE left who really looks like a teenage girl. Her official artwork looks like she's snickering at some juicy gossip too. >_>
Which reminds me of your Furret writeup. You're hating on Furret cuz it looks like something out of a pet store... when your username is inspired by something out of a pet store. <___>
Ditto is probably 1million% positive it's not her kid's daddy. Aside from all the Cubone->Marowak->Kangaskhan theories I just don't get why the baby Kangaskhan isn't it's own Pokemon by now. It's pretty much the only baby we actually need, but instead, we get Chingling. It's design is kind of dumb regardless. I guess it's supposed to be a kangaroo, but it doesn't quite work, it's too fat I guess. We need a legit Normal/Fighting Kangaroo... something that Nintendo has proven to be fully capable of...
In terms of battle, Kangaskhan is unsurprisingly in the NU tier, mostly just due to not being able to keep up with the new shiny Pokemon in BW and bringing nothing new to the table. It's typical movesets are pretty generic Life Orb Physical attack stuff or Sub and hit stuff, nothing special. I'd say Kangaskhan needs an evolution, but I don't know what it would be able to look like, and it's stats aren't terrible.
A lot of people like to complain about how hard Whitney's Miltank was, but I never felt like it posed much of a problem. Maybe I got lucky. From a design standpoint, it's ok, it's about as cool as a cow could be, but I was never a fan of cows anyway. It's bro (sis I guess) enough for Prof. Oak to ****ing love it.
Oddly, it's gotten steadily worse over time. In Gen 2 it was OU, Gen 3 BL, Gen 4 UU, Gen 5 NU. I guess it hasn't gotten many new toys over the years and power creep sent the old girl out to pasture. At the very least it's suggested moveset seems somewhat unique among the NU tier. Heal Bell, Milk Drink and T-Wave/Stealth Rock would probably make it pretty formidable if it had better stats.
It's bothered me for a while that Tauros/Miltank don't have a mutual baby, but now with Bouffalant that could possibly complicate things. Maybe have a baby where the girls always become Miltank and the boys become Tauros or Bouffalant depending on some other factor. Or just leave Bouffalant out all together, I don't care. Miltank could also use an evolution at this point, so maybe in the future it could hope to get the Roselia treatment and return to it's glory days.
Expecto Patronum! Stantler is ranked low for pretty much the same reason as Furret. It's a deer with kind of funky antlers... that's it... And it's not even practical or cool looking, they look more like they're trying to take in radio signals than to fight something. I also don't get what's on it's ass, it looks like a huge tumor or something. I also got sick of doing the sky race with it when I was trying to do Pokeneopets. 100 flying types and Stantler wants me to do the sky race, what the hell?
Big surprise, Stantler ended up in the NU tier. It's moveset on Smogon suggests using Bite of all things. It can learn Megahorn, which is kind of cool, I guess. Despite grass type, Sawsbuck is an improvement. Maybe they should make a lightning ferret or and ice cow or a fighting Kangaroo in Gen 6 to upgrade the past few Pokemon I rated.
I will take the blame for this one though, since I somehow didn't put it on the list <_<
263.Golbat
Golbat gets a lot of undeserved hate due to it's encounter frequency and it's friendship evolution, but it's really not that bad. Plus come on, dat ridiculous RBY sprite...
It's design is kind of generic (pretty much literally what you would expect from a vampire bat that's blue), but it's not quite as generic as some normal types and not as ugly as Swoobat. It always kind of bugged me that Brock used a Zu/Gol/Crobat, though it makes more sense than Vulpix at least (it's not a rock, but at least it's in caves, I guess). It bugged me more that Agatha used one though, they should have just said she was a poison type trainer or something.
Golbat was last FE in Gen. 1, so I doubt it ever saw much competitive use since it was weak to the R/B/Y Gods that were Psychic types. I suppose in a way it was FE in FR/LG since it couldn't evolve until post E4, but that's grasping at straws, so I'll wait until Crobat pops up to talk about battle.
No, that's accurate, for some reason they decided to lock it, so you could max it's friendship and it would start to evolve but automatically cancel and give you some message about it.
