Ned Stark did honorable things as well.

He also left his 2 little boys behind, one of them crippled, brought his 2 daughters into a cesspool, cheated on his wife, and put everyone's lives in danger because he was "honorable".

Arya does things that work for HER. She likes Gendry and his company and he makes her feel safe and he's handsome. So she saved him. She let the prisoners go so they could help them fight.

Catelyn Stark is practically just Cersei Lannister with the Stark name so we think she's a good guy. Also way less hot.

She's even worse in the books when you see a bit more just how much she hated Jon Snow.

Too much Stannis love here. The dude has the charisma of a wet stinky boot. King Renly was charismatic, knew how to play the game, and more importantly, was FABULOUS. If only Ned listened to him when he had the chance. You just can't ignore Renly's charm unless you have plot-induced stupidity. He had Rainbow Knights, awesome one-liners, and was banging the hottest piece of ass in Westeros. It is hilarious and pathetic that Renly had far more support than the elder brother Stannis to begin with. Davos is pretty cool though...for an onion smuggler.

The audience/readers now know that the only reason charismatic Rainbow Stag King Renly wasn't banging chicks as well as dudes was because he knew the disgusting deadly black horrors that may be hidden in a vag.

yeah i don't understand how renly could have possibly thought he had a legitimate claim as king

it's hard to really get that pissed at stannis when he actually is the rightful king

They may or may not happen in the books. Suggesting that Eddard isn't Jon's father is not a spoiler because this is not a revelation that has occurred in the book, and furthermore it's a theory that is entirely possible to come up with just from watching the show.

Show watchers probably shouldn't read these highlighted parts.

You pretty much said Ned Stark is not Jon Snow's father. This is a theory from the book readers.

It doesn't matter if it's true or not. The show watchers know we know more things than they do, and if we say something like that, they are going to believe it and be annoyed. A fake spoiler is just as annoying as a real one.

And hell, it may not even be fake.

There is absolutely no reason to be doing this.

There's plenty of ways to glean the theory that Ned isn't Jon's dad from the show:

-Ned having a bastard doesn't make sense with his character...he shows absolutely no signs of being a person who would cheat on his wife
-The massive troll with him promising to tell Jon about his mother and then dying suggests there's something deeper there, that his mother matters and is more than some random camp follower. If that's the case, than there's also reason to question the official story on Jon's father.
-The fact that he gives a name (Wylla) to Robert when pressed about Jon's mother but wouldn't give a name to Jon, suggesting that the name is a lie he's not willing to tell Jon.
-It doesn't fit with Ned's honest nature to conceal Jon's mother from him unless he has a very good reason to do so.
-When asked by Jon directly Ned says that Jon has his "blood," which is not the same as saying he's his son

Hell, here's a bunch of non-book readers theorizing that Jon isn't Ned's son after all of 4-5 episodes last year:

Does anybody in this topic actually understand what a spoiler is? Everything I've said is pure speculation grounded on material that is in the show. I'd say that's actually better than the backstory people routinely reveal in these topics when there is no mention of such backstory in the show at all.

But it's not a fake spoiler. It's a theory, as I have said multiple times. My "spoiler" consisted of asking whether somebody was sure Eddard is Jon's son. This is something plenty of show-watchers have questioned without ever reading the books.
