I guess they did not specifically say "the 360 version will have couch co-op." But they certainly gave that impression, and they printed it in the special edition book. I think they planned on having it and wanted people to believe they had it and didn't have time to put it in.

Then they blamed it on Microsoft and said you couldn't have two people go online at once from one console. That was so dumb. Capcom has not handled a lot of things about this game very well.

Sure I know tons of games let multiple people go online at once, many of them requiring only one paid Xbox Live account between the group, but Capcom's BS team would try to say something about how the specifics of the game precluded it somehow. MK9 though offers the exact same mode, 2-on-2 tag fighting with each player controlling one character.

This is old, the new thing to b**** about is the fact that earlier Capcom said that DLC gems will be free and today they announced that you have to pay for them.

Ono then moved on to give some information about the May downloadable content, which will be a mix of free and paid content. It will add colours from Palette 3 (free), include the Street Fighter X Tekken Assist Gem Pack 4 for $2/160 Microsoft Points and the Street Fighter X Tekken Booster Pack 3 and 4 for $1/80 Microsoft Points. Ono rounded off his part of the presentation by stating that battle related bugs (that leads to infinite combos) is being fixed.
