Ayreon, Chaos: (Not the battle music for anything, but it easily could be. Lookit that shredding!)

And last, but most certainly not least...

Fatboy Slim, Right Here, Right Now: (Movies have used it for years as a backdrop to fight scenes. The guys behind movie music had very good reasons for it)

Let's start with some classics:

Battle at the Big Bridge, 20th Anniversary Version:
Force Your Way, Black Mages Version: (My personal favorite battle theme, ever)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV, Turtles in Time, Boss Theme:
Streets of Rage Remake v5, Max Man II: (A very different sort of intensity compared to the others, but just as deserving of applause. Few themes convey a message as clearly as this one...and in this case, the message is 'your **** gon' get wrecked, son')
Streets of Rage Remake v5, Attack The Barbarian: (Great for getting pumped up!)
Streets of Rage Remake v5, Mona/Lisa: (Really, pick a SoRR song, any SoRR song. It's either beautiful, catchy, or badass fight music. This is probably my favorite though)
Chrono Trigger, Boss 1: (Some people prefer Boss 2 - I, personally, think Boss 1 packs a much bigger punch)

Etrian Odyssey 3, Battlefield ~ The First Campaign: (Chiptune music didn't die after the Genesis and SNES era - it just leveled up and became more hardcore, if this kickin' rad tune is proof of anything. Incidentally, Yuzo Koshiro is a god)
Etrian Odyssey 3, The First Campaign Super Arrange Version: (Speaking of leveling up...the same theme above, but now with live instruments, and boy does it sound great!)

somewhere in my top 5 brawl tracks along with Shin Onigashima, Gourmet Race, and some others I forget

dedede's brings back huge nostalgia though

(also best touhou tracks are lunatic princess and wind god girl)

Sound Alive is like fourth tier GG though. Feedback is the best pump-up piece and afterwards you get to the classics. Bottom tier is Burly Heart.
