kinda crazy that you can grab three of the best ps1 games (7, 9, and Tactics) for $15. i only have $5 in my wallet so I'll probably spring for a digital copy of IX.

already bought 8 and 9 ages ago, and got 5 for free from PS+, that just leaves Origins, Tactics, 7, and 6 which I already have the superior VC version of... but it's my favourite game so I don't mind buy it for the heck of it

Huh. That's weird how it works, not needing to have the ISO file. Well, it's convenient to not have to rip it onto my PSP from the UMD.

I got all excited to finish the game, too, once I heard about that patch. But then I started playing Tactics Ogre again for some reason. The patch worked well for the two battles I used it on, though.

FFV's load time is fine. FFVI's are annoying for fights but that's about it.

FFIV and CT were the ones with big issues.

I think you're thinking of CT there.

Like it takes I dunno a second or two to open the menu but it's not "forever" unless you're constantly opening the menu. Entering and exiting fights takes like 3 seconds on each side though which is annoying when you fight so much.

Eh, I never played Chronicles, and I definitely had Anthology but never got past Shadow's quest because it was just too annoying. It was definitely noticeable and made me stop playing my favorite game.

Well I'd consider the loading annoying just for the fights yeah, but it's plenty playable.

It's not like it's any worse than or even as bad as the actual PS FFs. FF9's fights take like 15 seconds to start with the loading and camera panning.
