CHAPTER 20

And so the amazing and epic battle between Regaro and firefdr began. firefdr no longer had MWC to help him, so he was having to learn the many functions of Excalibur as he went. For example, he was surprised that at one point the sword turned into pure water, which hit the ground and bounced up, lapping the legs of both combatants. The sword quickly returned to its original, metallic state, however, and the duel continued.

Regaro was, in the end, a knight. He knew what he was doing and fdr did not. However, fdr had an added X-factor here - the bizarre functions of the sword. They were allowing him to cause great harm to Regaro, for example at one point the sword just began to unleash bats all over his face. Regaro said "NAY!" and screamed loudly, getting rid of them with swipes. These allowed fdr to close in, but Reg leapt up into the air and did a triple somersault. This scored only an 8 from the judges, which wasn't bad, but nowhere near Tatyan's standard. She took the gold, for the second board 8 battle running. Maniac was suitably pissed off with this and roared Tatyan but I can't be bothered elongating it even though typing this sentence has been far more effort but oh well.

The battle raged on, with Excalibur now firing LAZER BEAMS OF F***MAGIC into the face of Franklin D. Roosevelt, who only just managed to avoid it. With his next swipe, fdr appropriately managed to set himself on fire with the sword. This was disappointing for him but the magic of the sword managed to reverse the problem. However, the fire had spread to Regaro in this time and the sword quite enjoyed this and thus did not extinguish Regaro's fire. So now we had a burning Regaro_Ukiera vs. firefdr who wasn't on fire. Go figure.

Regaro, now yelling in pain and outrage, swung wildly, but fdr deflected it with music. This resulted in Regaro crumpling, the fire threatening to overwhelm him. "But...I have failed m'lady."
"Yes, it would seem that way," said fdr as he prepared to shoot lightning and cabbage at the head of the downed Regaro. SUDDENLY PANTHERA APPEARED WITH THE FRYING PAN AND DECAPITATED FDR.

"M'lady! You...you saved me!"
"Uh. >_>. I guess I did!" said Panthera. Inwardly he groaned, now knowing that Regaro would be even more obsessed with him than he had been before.

vcharon stubbed out his cigar. In a "cool" twist, he did this right into the face of the passing, but lost, edwardsdv. The burning heat from the cigar served to ignite the ducknix, and turned him into ash. From this ash a new edwardsdv was born, and by "new" I mean "the original". The two of them looked at each other. vcharon growled, "The f*** is this..." as he raised his flag, ready to plunge it into the face of this new and bizarre opponent.

"So...SEAlliance time?" said Raka as he walked by, strumming his guitar. SADLY THERE WAS NO SEALLIANCE TO BE HAD AT THIS TIME, but saying this had alerted the nearby Wigs, who was still trying to fix his boombox, which was stuck on "in the air tonight".

Wigs and Raka looked at each other. Suddenly a shiny demon appeared and said "PLAY THE BEST SONG IN THE WORLD, OR I'LL EAT YOUR SOULS."

So Wigs and Raka.
They looked at each other.
And they each said!
"OK!"
And they played the first thing that came to their heads, which just so happened to be the best song in the world (a mash up of "in the air tonight" and "the best of both worlds", apparently). They played and played and played and the beast was stunned! Whip crack went his whoopy tail...the beast was done.
"Be ye angels?" he asked Wigs and Raka.
"NAY!" replied the two. "WE ARE BUT MEN! ROCK! AHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AAHHHHH-AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHH WHAT THE F*** ARGH"

Unfortunately the "rocking-out yell" had been sadly interrupted by a sword piercing Wigs right through the back. It was Pram the Oracle's Caladbolg. The beast disappeared, and Pram withdrew his sword. Wigs fell to the ground, dead. Pram and Raka looked at each other, and they each said: "So...SEAlliance time?"

Then when I got melted, Arcanine faded away into nonexistence, but Dewott's fate was left unresolved. Imo Dewott goes on its own adventure. Or joins Minio! :D
