I don't know, I always seem to like the CMC more than others. Predictable story but had some really funny moments.

AJ/Mac, Twilight force field, Fluttershy's reaction at the hair extensions. and lmao at Spike taking back the cucumber from Dash's mouth.

"Predictable story" is not a reasonable criticism of an episode given that the only one I can think of that was genuinely unpredictable was Party of One.

Sisterhoove Social totally got me on the unpredictability scale.

By all means, I SHOULD have seen it coming, but I had no idea Rarity was under the mud until AJ appeared elsewhere. Didn't see the ending to Dragon Quest coming either because I thought there was going to be a way to settle their differences that didn't involve... avoiding settling their differences.

Fall Weather Friends was prob my favorite ending. Dat 5th place medal. Also At The Gala was fairly unexpected, too, when everything started going to hell.

I was really hoping for this episode to have a solid mystery. Guess it was too much to hope for.

Still a good episode though, very funny.

Really, really good episode

Loved the silent film, James Bond, and ninja flick parodies, all of the new characters were great, I suspected one out of three of the twists once a certain somepony disappeared during the chase scene, but had no idea who the others were going to be, and omg Rarity ~*~EXPOSED~*~. First Flutter's tail extensions and now false eyelashes! What next? Twilight is still the best, and of course silly questions with obvious answers.

I absolutely love the alternative styles that the back half of this season has rolled out. On top of the three scenes from this episode, we've had the Daring Do scenes in all their grainy glory, a rare glimpse into the felt-based world of Pinkie Pie's brain, and the 50's-style pegasus PSA (If you see the Dash, duck and cover!)

Also, "Engineer is a Flutterspy" = alright, YouTube comment, enjoy your victory.

Yeah the movie parodies were the best part of this episode, but Community's horror movie parodies were way better. Though this episode's main story was way better than the Community episode's, so I think I'll say they are equal.

Yeeeesss Sherlock getup. I knew this was coming since I saw that snidely whiplash mustache. Not so much the James Bond thing. Doughnut Joe gets all the fillies. Ninja time! Stop making me hungry dammit! Hat switch! Wait what? *Checks back* She did! Applejack is clean huh. Moral of the story? Pinkie's words causes people to commit crimes.

I kept making a joke with my friends by showing them the full charity auction listings and telling them to pick the five MLP items by the dollar amount column. Twilight Sparkle went for $9100.00 and everything else was over four digits, while nothing else (even original Simpsons stuff) went for anything close to that.

Also, the Colgate platforming game that was on EqD a while back is amazing.

The story and dialogue is adorable, there's multiple endings depending on the secrets you find, and the cameo characters are great. The boss scenes are also really well done, although the design of the first boss fight makes it seem impossible not to be hit a ton when the boss gets up. Be sure to talk to Zecora again repeatedly at the beginning and read Trixie's balloon and news ticker feeds.
