So I think I give up.

For over a year now I have been keeping up with pretty much every article on EqD, every day. But lately I've had to start skipping so many articles. Of course I always skipped the fanfics, but then I started skipping vocal music, nightly roundups, and some other stuff, and this past weekend I didn't have any internet so I got so behind that I can't catch up. Maybe it's because I don't have enough time to read it anymore, maybe I lost interest, maybe the site is just updating more than before, but I give up.

There really hasn't been a jump in anything but the news compared to mid season 2, but there's been a ton of news and interviews in the past couple weeks. It's mostly based around the Bronycon documentary and interviews with those involved, plus Tara Strong becoming increasingly active as the "brony queen".

I would suggest reading the nightly roundups since they're really easy to pick through for interesting stuff. Just skip the meetup stuff. I normally can get through one in 1-2 minutes and about 30%-40% of the time there's an article that is worth reading hidden in there. Personally I do comics, nightly roundups, interviews that are done by good teams and are of interesting people (such as Thiessen, Ingram, Faust, de Lancie and the VAs), instrumental music (skipping dubstep and only listening a few seconds to songs I will clearly not like), fan animations, actual news, and maybe 1-2 short comedy fics per month.

That is pretty much exactly what I do, minus the fics. Some vocal music I will listen to if it's from someone good (Aviators, Replacer).

I used to always read Nightly Roundups, but it seemed like they were all like 2 uninteresting articles and then a bunch of meetup pics, so I started skipping them. I have seen some good articles/videos in there occasionally, though.

Now that we dont have an ep every saturday I find it easier to browse ED in bunches instead of daily. since it seems like until we get some sort of S3 announcement news isnt going to be particularly interesting, and I'm assuming within minutes of it being announced I'll hear about it either through this topic or elsewhere.

I find a lot of the actual news on EqD never makes it to this topic or any of the other sites I visit. The recent interviews with Tara Strong (Everfree Radio) and John de Lancie (Equestria Daily) were absolutely enthralling, but they never appeared here. Heck, I don't even remember anything at all in this topic about Bronycon: The Documentary despite its $300,000+ dollars of funding from the fandom and the all-star team behind it (Faust, Strong, de Lancie).

Yeah I knew about the Bronycon documentary, but I had no idea it's at $300K already. Not even EQD is talking about it THAT much, though they did just post an update on it today.

Apparently you can get Lauren Faust to draw you an OC for $3K. Pretty good deal considering how much her old Twilight and Pinkie drawings sold on ebay.

Another good title for the next topic:

At least that's the way it's in the transcript, but it almost seems like "guilded" sounds slightly better, since guild means "an association of people of the same trade", as opposed to gild meaning "to cover with a thin layer of gold", although, the only problem with "guilded" is that it's not technically a word.

I'm glad to see they finally updated Twilight and AJ's splash art, because the first drafts (placeholders?) of those were just terrible as fighting games go.

AJ sounds like she's going to be the unbeatable character over netplay because of latency... not going to be fun having to deal with my ping never going below 120ms and often spiking to much higher.
