I always enjoy Michiel van den Bos's work. Here's one his older pieces from Unreal; one of several tracks that did not appear on the soundtrack album releases. It's a little repetitive, but I enjoy the upbeat feel and the use of diminished scale to provide a sinister soundscape.

My rationale for choosing this track is mostly based on the version from the arrange album "METAL BLACK -The First-". It's a great album. I should maybe put a post here and let everyone that enjoys vgm know that the website Gamingforce is having their yearly vgm contest soon. The nominations for songs is up on the gamingforce.org forums and I imagine within a couple weeks songs will be up to vote on. It's always a good way to find some new music and express your enjoyment for stuff that you like.
