tcaz2 02/08/12 11:32:00 PM #53:	I believe I noted, for a while immediately after [s] Cascade, there was a point where we actually knew everything in the story thus far for the first time since I think like freaking Act 2. There were no future visions, no trolling hints of things to come, no clever veiling of things in the past we haven't seen yet. It was a strange experience. Of course now we have like, Roxy's flash now to fix that and a few other tidbits, but still. I remember when I was reading, I had no clue about any of the kids' powers and he just kind of subtlely introduced them and stuff. Maybe I was just really unobservant, but he never really explained any of that. I liked having that aspect in. Some things can't really be shown off like that, like the whole passive/active thing, but I just feel like something's missing. Plus, UU doesn't really pair up well with any characters. Did you guys think "CG" was a crappy character too after all he did was yell at Jade in his first appearance? Also, "UU doesn't pair up well with anyone?" In his introduction, CG didn't have enormous conversations with the kids for the sake of exposing plot elements while simultaneous exhibiting little to no actual personality. His mystery was kept intact by the short snippets of conversations he had with the kids (while still expressing his character, mind you!) while trolling them. When he did start to have longer conversations with the kids, his personality was already established and he had enjoyable pesterlogs. <_< UU is getting better but she's doing it as a snail's pace.
