Solid Division - Round 4:


The (17) Animorphs (Animorphs) were a group of five teenage human children, chosen by Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul to fight against the Yeerks' invasion of Earth. Later joined by Elfangor's brother Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill, the group used the Andalite morphing power given to them by Elfangor to wage a guerilla war against the Yeerks and their leader on Earth, Visser Three. Their actions ultimately ended the Andalite-Yeerk War.

The (4) Power Rangers (Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers) are "teenagers with attitude" that Zordon recruited to battle Rita Repulsa using the power that they wield with their Power Morphers and Power Coins. They developed a strong sense of unity. The Power Rangers use their morphers to change into their costumed forms, initiating an instantaneous transformation or metamorphosis. A Morpher gives a Ranger access to their costume along with enhanced strength, speed and durability to fight monsters.



(10) Project Mayhem (Fight Club) evolves out of, and eventually replaces Fight Club (at least the original chapter) starting out as a "homework assignment" given out to members by Tyler Durden. As fight club attains a nationwide presence, Tyler uses it to spread his anti-consumerist ideas, devising increasingly elaborate pranks on corporate America. He eventually gathers the most devoted fight club members and forms "Project Mayhem," a cult-like organization that trains itself as an army to bring down modern civilization.

Dreaming of a world in which humans and mutants could live together peacefully, Professor Charles Xavier decided to turn his family mansion into the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters in which he would train mutants to use their powers to benefit mankind. Using his newly developed Cerebro system, he gathered students. They were given school uniforms and dubbed (3) X-Men (X-Men), after the X-factor gene that grants mutants their powers. The X-Men regularly battled against Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants with the aid of Professor X.
