The (2) Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter) was a secret society founded by Albus Dumbledore to oppose Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters. The original Order was created sometime in 1970s, after Voldemort started his campaign to take over the Ministry of Magic and persecute Muggle-borns. The Order worked with the Ministry to oppose the Dark Lord and his followers, and played a crucial role in the First Wizarding War. The Order disbanded, but was reconvened in 1995 after Harry Potter informed Dumbledore of Lord Voldemort's return. ~VS~ (7) Aperture Science (Portal) was founded in the early 1940s by Cave Johnson. Cave Johnson purchased a large, abandoned salt mine in Upper Michigan in which Aperture Science's Enrichment Center would be built. There, Aperture Science began its comprehensive testing and research practices. In 1998, GLaDOS was brought online and became self-aware and homicidal. GLaDOS flooded the enrichment center with a deadly neurotoxin, killing most of the scientists. Aperture Science was effectively shut down and placed into a permanent testing cycle by GLaDOS.
The (14) MIB (Men in Black), founded in the U.S. in the mid-1950s, began as a small and poorly funded government organization devoted to making contact with extraterrestrial life. They were initially seen as a joke, but did make contact on March 2, 1961, outside New York City. It was decided to make Earth an apolitical zone for aliens without a planet, and the organization broke its government ties and became the force to conceal and police the aliens that came to Earth. MiB agents sever every tie with their former lives. All agents dress in black business suits with Rayban sunglasses, and have access to a wide array of alien technologies for their missions. ~VS~ The (6) Fellowship of the Ring (Lord of the Rings) was formed by Elrond after the Council of Elrond as a brotherhood between members of the various Free Peoples of Middle-earth. Its purpose was to take the One Ring to Mordor that it might be cast into the fires of Mount Doom (Orodruin), the mountain in which it was forged, in order that it might be destroyed. The Fellowship consisted of nine members: four Hobbits, two Men, one Elf, one Dwarf, and one Istar wizard. This number was chosen to match the number of Ring Wraiths.

Rocket Division: Round 3
(1) Team Rocket (Pokemon) is a criminal organization, with their main base in the Kanto Region. They are headed by Giovanni, who also doubles as the Viridian City Gym Leader. Team Rocket's main goal is obtaining powerful and rare Pokemon to further their criminal syndicate in the hopes of someday taking over the world. They obtain these Pokemon by regular capture, or more often, theft. In addition to this they also perform inhumane experiments on Pokemon to further their power. ~VS~ The (9) Brotherhood of (Evil) Mutants (X-Men) was a group dedicated to the cause of mutant superiority over humans. Throughout its various incarnations, the Brotherhood's agenda gravitated towards either subjugating the human race to the will of mutants or eradicating humanity altogether. Magneto formed the original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, including Astra, Toad, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Mastermind, shortly after the public debut of the X-Men.
(4) Planet Express (Futurama), Inc. is the delivery company started by Professor Hubert Farnsworth to help fund his research. Despite being largely incompetent at actually delivering packages without dangerous complications, the company has received some prestigious contracts over the years, being contacted by as important employers as the Government of Earth, the Democratic Order of Planets, Santa Claus, and the Miss Universe pageant. ~VS~ (12) Mystery Inc. (Scooby Doo) is the crime solving group of friends. Their mystery solving began as kids in the city of Coolsville, and eventually accross the globe. Scoobert "Scooby" Doo is a Great Dane; Norville "Shaggy" Rogers is a beatneck teenager; Fred Herman Jones is the leader of Mystery Inc.; Daphne Blake can be very obsessed with how she looks; Velma Dinkley is often the brains behind the team; and former member Scrappy-Doo is a Great Dane who is the nephew of Scooby-Doo.
