not only that, but think about this, Celestia is all dictatory and no pony aside the Canterlot elite are really seen being sociable with her(And her one actual visit to ponyville was a closed affair with intimidating guards at the entrance). Then you've got Twilight, her closest and most important student running the library. Thats got to be pretty intimidating.

Then you've got some of her interaction with the town. Most of Ponyville probably thinks shes crazy on top of that.

Looks like AJ is training for the pony olympics.

...or rodeo. I guess that makes more sense. Pony olympics would be RD. And also require being a good pony.

How old is AJ again? She's apparently won this thing 10 times. Perhaps it is held more than once a year, or maybe the concept of a year is meaningless in a land where ponies control the sun and progression of seasons...for all we know a pony year is equivalent to a month or two which would explain all the inconsistencies seen thus far.

Shame AJ has no chance with all this praise from Applesomething.

So, the lesson we learned today is that Applejack is Derpy tier retarded. We also learned that despite this, the episode was pretty awesome because of Pinkie Pie who pretty much single hoovedly saved the day.

idk...there has been a lot of growth from season 1 and everypony is a bit closer in quality than they were before. Even Fluttershy I would just call average, and pretty much have all along, but she also has bouts of awesome.

S2 Episode 17: Valentine's Neigh

I know this episode involves Cherilee and Big Mac and pony romance. I don't have very high hopes for this one, and it will be impossible to top Rainbow Dash's books until Twilight Sparkle has a chance to do the time travel thing (this episode is pretty much automatically the best episode by the description alone). But we'll see how good this episode is. Of all the days to decide to watch it...

I am glad they are fleshing out Miss Cherilee more. She is a nice pony. I've a bit of a bias towards teachers, but in this instance I wouldn't call it an attraction...more of an appreciation. Of all my perversions, ponies are safely not among them. Not that such stops the rest of the internet...but the sexualization of nonanthropomorphic entities confounds me in much the same way as some of my own interests confounds others. Anyway...less talk of pony lust and more talk about pony love, which I assume is going to be the focus of this episode.

A very special somepony....if I didn't know it was gonna be Big Macintosh I would...well...be almost forced to think of him because the pool of known male ponies is...preeeeeeetty limited. I can't say I agree with this choice. Doctor Whooves would be a much better somepony imo. Though given the ratio between male and female ponies we've seen, either not everyone can have a very special somepony, or lesbianism is culturally acceptable >_>;;
