I really like the subtle imagery that I don't know if Omega caught or not, so I'll just spell it out here.



Probably one of my favorite still shots. She is literally eclipsed by her former self and can't get out of the past. Plus she's pushing a little piece of candy towards the statue it's just a really nice scene. I didn't catch it until I saw that picture.

Edit: Plus Twilight dressing up as an old obscure historical figure is so wonderfully Twilight, it's great.

S2 Episode 6: Pony Plague

Silly CMC...everything you try fails. Like Charlie Brown kicking a football. Only with slightly more hope. On a tangential note, I would hate to be the pony that was good at nothing and had a blank cutie mark...

So...bowling. Ponies bowl. Which makes a kind of sense. Can't play football...or basketball...or baseball...or hockey...or golf...or tennis...

Soccer would work fantastically, but the show has a primarily USA audience, so that is out. Boxing would work too, but lol violence...couldn't have that (until 2015 when bronies become the main demographic...all of a sudden giant robots and swords (mounted on heads) and blood and death raining down on Ponyland as a rival nation invades.

....oh hey, there was some kind of cutie mark episode here.

Aaand Zecora...completely fits here. Applesomething was the first one to be her friend...perhaps she will be able to help with the cutie mark.

That she is good at tribal stuff? Kiiiiiinda racist.

I see the show is experiencing an exponential rise in cutie mark...

Good episode though...but perhaps raises more questions than answers regarding cutie marks. Such a tease though...if I were a fan of the CMC I would be ripping my hair out wondering when and what their marks would be.

I remember watching that episode for the first time and I immediately called it being a dream sequence simply because Owlolysloys...Fred was keeping pace with Rainbow Dash. Of course, that still didn't prepare me for the horrors of Nightmare Pet.

So what lesson have we learned here? It certainly wasn't a friendship one. No, we learned that magic really is the answer to everything. Ponyville exists because of magic apples. Equestria exists because of magic friendship. The 6 main ponies were destined to be friends because of magic sailor moon bs.

RD has a pretty swag cloud mansion. Working in weather has gotta make some serious bank.

It's like the equivalent of a penthouse apartment in a city, yeah it's cool, but it's small. Fluttershy probably has the second biggest house, since she has the creek and a backyard for her animals as well. Pinkie is ****ing homeless so she has to sleep in the bakery's attic.
