Just no need to mess with that perfect ending to the TV show. My fav anime finale, hmmm well obvious choices but Cowboy Bebop and Gurren Lagann are up there. Too often a good TV show will overstay its welcome and turn to utter crap and you're left feeling ambivalent about something you once loved, See: Friends, Scrubs, That 70's Show, Buffy even HIMYM at this point.
