Also I love Buffy's final season and finale a whole lot (my fav show pretty much).
Agreed there are a lot more stand alone 1 season anime shows than other TV shows, but then again we do have plenty of anime with no ending, especially when based on a manga.
But anime always wins, its anime.
Buffy season 7 is nice in its own way, but you have to survive season 6 (which aside from the musical interlude was just downright painful) and still never gets back to how good season 5 was.
