Great monologues, good gameplay, but it always felt like there was too much wandering around for me. Too many sequences where there aren't nearly enough enemies and too many points where it's somewhat ambiguous where to go.

Set the bar for writing in video gaming and makes me wonder why I haven't played Alan Wake yet despite having owned it for almost a year. The writing also helps make Max Payne one of the greatest characters in video gaming.
