Once again, you guys submitted some great music! I enjoyed listening to this stuff.
Now, there’s a bit of theory I employed while considering the songs. Some of these songs merely sounded like music that played during a boss fight, while others were able to convey that they were, in fact, songs that went with a boss fight. Basically, some songs had a “tension” that helped the song sound like something big and troublesome was going on. In truth, it sometimes depends on the other music in the game, but I was trying to judge these as standalone boss fight songs.
So, during these write-ups, you’ll eventually hear me say something like “this didn’t sound like a boss fight song.” That doesn’t necessarily mean it wasn’t, or that I didn’t believe you. It just means that I wouldn’t have been able to tell if you hadn’t told me it was.
Also, the size of the write-ups varies, and I tried not to outright bash peoples submissions, ‘cuz that’s not cool.

This be old school! It’s an enjoyable tune. It doesn’t really sound quite like a boss fight song, though. In fact, it sounds sort of like a good main menu theme. *shrugs* Maybe it would help to see it in action.

No. 29 Mother 3 - Porky's Pokeys

This has more of a “boss” feel to it. It has a sort of tension that I would normally expect from a good boss fight song. Though, part of it sounds kind of silly, compared with the rest of the song. Overall, it’s a pretty good theme.
Too strong! Uh… this song has a nice beat to it. The underlining tune is- Wrapped in black!- nice. The lyrics are disruptive, though- Wrapped in black! They repeat a bit too much for me and I- Too strong!- start hearing different- Wrapped in black!- lyrics after a- Wrapped in black ‘n black ‘n black ‘n black!- while. The choral parts are Captain Black! good, though.

This is a good song on its own. I’m not really sure how it would work as a boss song. But it has a bright, energetic melody, and it’s very enjoyable to listen to.

Lots of chanting and voices in this song. Unfortunately, the chanting sounded a bit disruptive. The slower lyrics seemed to go with the song a little better. The chanting might have sounded better in the game’s setting. But standing alone, I don’t think it helps the song much. But again, the lyrics were smoother. And coming from me, that’s saying a lot.

Neat song. It sounded casual and relaxing. I’m not sure what kind of a boss fight this would accompany, though. It doesn’t really sound like a boss fight song, at least to me. It has a good piano and a nice overall melody, though..

Hmm... I think I'll take a shot at predicting my own songs given the "doesn't sound like a boss theme" aspect, which I hadn't really considered during picking.
Full Force > Godsibb > EXEC_SPHILIA
Full Force and Godsibb might be switched but I feel like SPHILIA is the one most in danger under that criteria.
Coincidentally, that inequality would be the reverse of my own feelings on the three! But I like them all so it's not too big a deal!

Well, keep in mind that I might place a song higher on the list simply because I liked more. The "boss song" thing was really just another factor I came up with to help me judge these songs.
So all is not set in stone! More later.

FF VI - Decisive Battle

Good use of the bass, or whatever that is. This song does a good job of sounding enjoyable while conveying its “boss music” nature. Though, the boss-ness could be flushed out a little more, in my opinion. Nice song.

This was somewhat repetitive, but it’s excusable. It honestly didn’t sound too much like a boss fight song, but I think I could see it working. It sounded pretty militant. Actually, I liked the tune. (It almost sound like something from a Kirby game, in my opinion.)

No. 24 Shining Wisdom - Distorted Reality

This sounded a bit random and hectic. Actually, it reminded me of The Incredible Machine in some parts. I can tell this is a boss fight song. It conveys that just fine. But it definitively sounds… distorted. o_O

At first this just sounds like a casual song. But then it starts getting a bit more involved. It doesn’t really sound like much of a “fight” song, as it sounds happy and positive. But I suppose it could work in the right setting. It almost sounds like it wants to be a “boss fight” song in some places, but then it tends to continue just being a nice song. It almost sounds a bit… Celtic, I think.

This song seems to hover between “casual” and “serious boss fight” status. It’s a nice song, and it’s certainly active. The opening was good. It started out like it was going to be dramatic. Then it just sort of… did its own thing. I suppose it could work, actually. It just takes some imagining.

Just because I ranked them lower/differently doesn't mean I thought they were bad.
Demon Vesper was a good song, but I couldn't really tell it was a "boss fight" song. That's really why I put it at that position. Meaning of Birth had a similar deal, but to a lesser extent, so it got higher. Fatal Fight was more a personal thing. I've very picky about lyrics and voices. But it did actually sound more like a boss fight song.
I'm not trying to "insult" anyone, by any means. Don't get me wrong.

This song sounded kind of mischievous. I’m not too familiar with Donkey Kong music, but I’d say this isn’t too out of place for it. It does a good job of keeping the tension of a boss fight song.

Why does this make me think of Donkey Kong? It sounds eerily similar to Gloomy Galleon Boss Battle. Though, it tries to be a bit more dramatic. Then it sort of does its own thing. It still works as a boss song, but I just find it interesting that is sounds so similar.

No. 20 1. Nights into Dreams - Gillwing the Dragon Gave a Loud Scream

Sounds Arabian. And Jazz-ish. This song seems to change it direction a couple times. But it’s kind of fun to listen to. It had a good, fast feel to it. I kind of wish the song would stay in one place, so to speak. It kind of sounds like the composer threw several ideas into one song. That didn’t make it bad. It just made the song a little more random.

I still can’t get over how much the art style in this game is like that of Dragon Ball Z. There’s definitely tension in this song. After a while it starts sounding like there could be a lot of action in this fight. I think that can be partially attributed to the fast beat coupled with the slower tempo of the leading “foreground” instruments.
Just a note: I probably won't be posting much stuff tomorrow. I might, but I don't know yet. Don't worry. I won't make you wait too long. :P

Nice strings. This song is pretty smooth and doesn’t really have any big upsets in its sound. It doesn’t really sound like a boss fight song at first, then it kind of starts getting into it.
