Previous results: a. Not that anyone is surprised, but Dreams Bordering the Shore crushed Tallon Overworld, setting up an epic rivalry match next round... Chrono Cross advances 19-6. b. Except that Hope didn't win over Desert of Despair! To be fair, Desert didn't beat Hope either. Instead, we need...A TIEBREAKER!...OF DOOM! YS7 and Umineko tie 13-13. c. In our first JFF semi-final, The Race Around the World destroyed The Way That Should Be in one of the most lopsided matches we've seen. Semifinals are supposed to be good! Oh well. Castle Crashers advances to the finals, 16-3.
------------------------------------------ WE ARE INTO LOSER BRACKET ROUND 7, which sounds kinda scary until you realize that the rounds are much shorter than the winner's bracket. Nonetheless, we are now down to having just one match per day because, well, I don't want to hear the exact same songs played yesterday go again today. Because we have a tiebreaker today, I'm going to save the JFF match for tomorrow. (We only have two of those left!)
That means, with 8 games left to play, and one eliminated each day, the tournament will be over in almost exactly a week. (Almost because if the LB champ wins the first time over AT2, we go a second time.)
**ALSO**, I want to apologize to Touhou fans. I incorrectly posted yesterday that Touhou 3 had won. That was a stupid error. I had the votes counted correctly, handled them correctly in bracketmaster and in the spreadsheet, but for some reason I announced the wrong thing yesterday. Then again, it was a difference of one vote, and there were a ton of wishy-washy people. I was almost tempted to call a do-over.

Still wish Annul were here. Although, the winner of the Neotokyo/Barkley/Touhou trio would be my favorite against PoR here. I prefer Annul/The Old Spalding Song Sucks/Dimensional Dream all to Crucifix Held Close.
...I'm still stunned Hope got itself into a tie. Although, I did like both songs in that match. This time, however, it's not even close in Umineko's favor.

And I come back to this contest, actually was here yesterday but had to leave before even voting in the matches, otherwise Umineko would have passed...
But today was an annoying day to come back, I come to listen to an actually good song, and a song from an entire soundtrack that this song describes with its last word: "sucked"
Crucifix Held Close
As for second match, I have really been liking Ys Seven music, and Umineko music is kinda lovely... But today, the catchy one beats the not as fantastic piano song...
Xuxon posted... well what do you expect, today doesn't have Dreams of the Shore or Scars of Time in it
So what you're saying is if the thread title contains the names of one of those two songs, people will come in and vote? Maybe I should test that theory when another match is going...
Sidenote: on the off-chance it should happen, what do you think I should do for a double tiebreaker? I've contemplated this before, but before the answer that I rationalized was "go to track 6," because both games were unlikely to ever use it. The winner here has a chance at it. (Well, not a good one if it has to survive CC first, but still.)

I was thinking loop back to Song 1 and progress onwards from there (Song 2 if we went into triple OT, etc. Jump to Song 6 if, and only if, we somehow had a sixth OT)
But I don't think there's a right or wrong answer here. Pretty much anything would work.
