I read it for a bit, and honestly while 100 is astoundingly terrible, it's really not so bad. Actually it's pretty good ignoring the pointless racing game ones that could really be combined and/or apply to any damn game in the genre.

But yeah, talk about a bad first impression.

Another thing that got me.

The Rakk hive was absolutely pathetically lame when you discover how quickly it it can be killed. I got more excitement every time I opened a chest. Which is what should've been put on that list if they wanted to shoe horn borderlands in there.

It's not even just old games. Take Skyrim at #55 for instance. It's moment is the dragon showing up at the start of the game. I just did this for the first time last week, it was cool but nothing really special.

Now the first time you randomly encounter a dragon elsewhere and all the animals and people around join in to help you defeat it? That is a great moment.

Still not worthy of #55 though.

And the Beatles don't make any sense for a top 100 gaming moment.

Now that I've read it all (so far) I actually think it's a pretty great list. Some moments, like 100 or 76 are pretty terrible (or in some cases not even moments) but the vast majority are either seriously great or you can at least see why they're there. Probably should have left the super-recent games to stew for a while though. Comes across as a bit too soon for those two.

I don't get websites. Even ignoring the awful content of the list, why the hell is the "slideshow" format for lists gaining popularity? EVERYONE hates it. I don't want to click 100 times to get through your list... nor have to wait between each and every thing on the list for the next to load.
