Bayonetta is basically a modern witch, she mostly uses offensive magic techniques that are common to her clan, and they're always available regardless of what weapons she uses, magic is her main weapon. Not to mention, the weapons she uses are heavily influenced by her magic ability. Also, I know I originally nominated Quistis, but I see mnk's point - her limit break would classify her as a blue mage, but it has nothing to do with her character. But she is classified as a blue mage, so I wouldn't complain about her inclusion. Erika is also somewhat borderline. When I nommed her, it was kind of a kneejerk thing because I figured her status as the Witch of Truth would qualify her. She uses her Witch of Truth powers in logic battles that are symbolically represented as magic battles. I'm probably not doing a good job of explaining this.
