Overall I felt they were a fantastic addition to the show and fit in great, but I kinda feel like they were a little underutilized. Not that they weren't on enough (though I wouldn't have objected to more!), but I felt like there were a few missed opportunities. Like they had Statler & Waldorf in the luxury box like everyone wanted, but they weren't really that insulting, they felt kinda tame & toned down. Same with Animal as guest timekeeper. What's the point if you're gonna just have him ring the bell normally? He should've gone nuts and rang it constantly.

Missed opportunities, is all.

They totally nailed Sheamus/Beaker though. I couldn't have asked for anything more from that bit.

I was slightly disappointed in the Muppets, but that's probably because I had high expectations, probably too high. Waldorf and Statler were definitely being held back, but I imagine that's because WWE didn't want their program to be (so easily) torn into. It would've been interesting to see what was said had Cole-JR actually happened. I wanted to see more Miss Piggy vs. the Divas (especially retaliation against Kelly Kelly for kissing Kermit). I wanted to see the Swedish Chef serving Hornswoggle a meal or interacting with him in at least some way. I wanted to see Kermit and John Cena actually interact, considering they are the figureheads of their respective groups.

I'm sure I could maybe think of others, but those are some segments that I think would've entertaining. I at least got my Sheamus/Beaker segment, and it definitely didn't disappoint.

God I hope not. They're just starting to make the tag division feel somewhat legitimate again, the champions themselves being jobbers not withstanding. Miz/Truth, Kofi/Bourne, Swagger/Ziggler. They're not quite true tag teams, but they seem to be a hell of a lot closer to actual tag teams than ORTON AND CENA HAVE TEAMED UP FOR THE MAIN EVENT, and seem a lot more significant to the overarching wrestling scene than guys like The Hart Dynasty or Cryme Tyme did.

Well, that article basically confirms everything I ever thought about Bret. Guy was just the last dinosaur who refused to evolve, and to this day refuses to admit that he was the least bit wrong about anything he ever did. It's funny that 15 years later, the two guys who specialized in being a douche come out of this looking the best, while the guy who was supposedly "screwed" is the one who won't get over it, and still maintains that HE did everything right and perfect and is just some victim.
