And 40 for the second that lets you hold 500

I was going for a 100% run over the summer, then I found out I slacked and couldn't get the deku stick (seed?) upgrade in the lost woods because I had already gotten the master sword. I gave up at that point....

Deku stick upgrade - there is a glitch that prevents you from getting one of the upgrades (standing on the Forest Stage wearing a skull mask) if you have already pulled the Master Sword.

Bottles -
1. Gathering Cuccos in Kakariko village and putting them in the pen (Child)
2. That Cucco finding game at Lon-Lon Ranch (Child)
3. Story related (child)
4. Gathering 10 big poes (Adult)

That Poe sidequest is indeed dumb. I've only gone 100% once out of the millions of times I played the game, and I largely blame the Poe quest for that.

Also I don't recall any Deku Stick upgrade that can be missed if you don't get it before the Master Sword.

No, you have to wear it down in the Forest Stage. It's in a hole somewhere in the Lost Woods.

You can also wear the Mask of Truth down there to get a Deku Nut upgrade.

Getting the 10 Big Poes for the last bottle is arguably the single most annoying quest for 100%ing the game. They were such a ***** to find the first time, and even now I can't find em all quick.

Also, make sure to check the Hyrule Market back alleys right after getting the Ocarina of Time. There's a cool bonus scene there that is often missed. Though given the fact that you're on B8, there's a good chance you've seen it already.

They're both missable. The deku stick upgrade becomes missable once you pull the Master Sword and the deku nut upgrade becomes unavailable after you get the Poacher's Saw.
